Description:
The Giant Mountains (Krkonose) - the hightest mountains in the Czech Republic are a great area for winter sports. Within a height of between 630- and 1300m is a 13km long piste. There are more ski schools, where you can work on your techniques.
In Spindleruv Mlyn (40 km) is a big ski area with a height of 715 to 1310. There is 25 km ski slopes and about 70 km langlauf possibilities. In the area is a big ski school where next to service and maintenance other possibilities like paragliding, skating, toboggan and babysitting.

The town Rokytnice has many shops and restaurants. When it comes to sports, it is well known. In the town is an indoor tennis court, more tennis courts tennis courts, a manege, and swimming pool and a big fitness centre with a Sauna.

Jablonec nad Jizerou (5 km) has a swimming pool.
Jilemnice (17 km) has its own fitness centre with sauna.
Golf is possible in Semily (27 km).


Rokytnice nad Jizerou (630-1312 m.)

The second largest winter centre in the Czech Repulbic offers ideal conditions for skiing. The long downhill slopes are prepared every day and provide ideal conditions for all levels of difficulty. The Horni Domky ski area is suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers, whereas ski area Studenov is more suitable for less proficient skiers and families with children. The modern chair lift ascends to country routes.
