La Truffière is a charming chalet (total area + annexe 100 m2), ideally situated in the heart of the Black Périgord. In the heart of the countryside, in a hectare of wooded grounds and with no neighbours, this magnificent chalet provides an idyllic setting for the whole family to relax in.

2 km from the river Dordogne, this chalet is at the centre of the regions tourist and cultural activity: canoeing on the Dordogne (4 km away), quad-biking in the woods, two golf courses less than 5 km away, the chateaux of the Dordogne and Vézère valleys, caves and prehistoric sites, Medieval villages and Périgords fine food.
Just a few kilometres from the chalet you will find a number of farms/inns in which you can try out their foie gras, candied products, fillet of duck and Monbazillac wine, etc.

The owner pays for 10 kW of electricity per day. If consumption exceeds this amount, payment is the customer's responsibility.

The annexe comprises a bedroom with washbasin (cold water only), an outside area under a pergola and a toilet/shower unit (pleasant in summer, cool in mid-season).

'La Truffière' is an adorable chalet lying in the heart of nature, with a 1 ha park at the end of a private road with no neighbors and surrounded by forest at only 3 kms from a historical village classified 'Most beautiful villages of France' in the centre of the 'Perigord' surrounded by prehistorical caves, famous castles, Sarlat, Les Eyzies... one can partake in especially good wine & cuisine. The suroundings offers plenty of activities : river trout-fishing à 5 km, 2 golfs at 3 kms including a 18 holes golf course, canoe at 4 km on the Dordogne River where you can enjoy viewing the 5 main castles of the Dordogne... The surrounding villages offer farmers markets and traditional suppers in the season.
