In a 60 km radius around the Domain, and cut between three departments (Dordogne, Corrèze and Haute-Vienne), come and discover this diverse region. The cultural heritage and the regional architecture have a lot to offer. Visit the prehistoric caves of the Vézère valley (le couloir de la préhistoire) and of course the caves of Tourtoirac, Villars or Lascaux. Admire the numerous castles in the vicinity of the Domain, such as Hautefort, Pompadour, Ségur le Château, or Beynac and Castelnaud in the valley of the Dordogne. Visit also cultural cities such as Périgueux, Sarlat, Brantôme, Limoges… And of course you can visit the museums, the churches, parks and gardens and the picturesque villages or take a canoe trip on one of the many rivers. The countryside is most beautiful in the valley of the Auvézère, the gorges de la Vézère and in the natural park of the Périgord Limousin. De verwarming voor het zwembad werkt niet

Het huis is heel gezellig, voldoende ruim en prachtig gelegen op een mooi domein met mogelijkheden voor activiteiten en toch meer dan voldoende privacy. Het zwembad en de tuin zijn super en worden goed onderhouden. We zouden de accomodatie als 'fantastisch' beoordelen als men zou beslissen de meubels te renoveren. De stoelen in de woonkamer, de ligzetels aan het zwembad en de bedden zijn aan vernieuwing toe.

Samen met familie (6 volwassenen en 6 kinderen) een week doorgebracht in Le Patelin. Bij binnenkomst waren we verrast door de luxe van het woonhuis (kamers met badkamers), het uitzicht en de grote van het huis. De kinderen waren helemaal weg van het zwembad. We hebben een geweldige week gehad met z'n allen, ondanks de regen aan het einde van de week. Trouwens, volgens de kinderen was zwemmen in de regen geen probleem, je word toch nat. Alleen bij het eruit komen was het even koud. Kortom, een geweldige, rustige plek om heerlijk het dagelijkse leventje even te vergeten en lekker te genieten van de rust.
