The mansion Le Grand Etang lies in the Dordogne in the village Saint Saud, 59 km. south-west of Limoges. This mansion consists of three living layers and the apartment Cezanne is situated in the left wing of the mansion and is suitable for 6 persons (groundfloor and 1st floor).
The mansion is ideal for families with children because of the marvellous garden which is lit in the evenings. The garden has walking paths, beautiful lawns on where you can sun bath or play, a little bower, a waterfall, a fountain, a swimming pool (7x14 m.) and toddlers pool (5x5 m.) with shower and toilet. You have a spacious covered terrace with bar, a television area for the children and in the garden one can practice many activities such as volleyball, jeu de boules, swing, play darts, badminton, table tennis or a large Mikado game.
The holiday house is near a lake in where you can fish at 50 m. and the beach lies at 400 m. distance. The beach is guarded by a bay watch in the high season. Numerous activities are to be done in the area such as horseback riding, canoe, visit caves, hiking or biking.

Tips Owner:
My husband and I bought this property in 2001 because of the appearance and the peace that prevails here. Since then we have enjoyed for many vacationers to receive and welcome and all prospective guests are welcome!

As there are around the ages of 18 to 25 little to do, the location is less suitable for youth groups. Moreover, experience shows that the presence of these groups does not match the wishes of other guests. We refer these groups therefore like to refer to more appropriate locations
