The castle of Triestewitz is situated in the middle of the Berlin/Dresden/Leipzig triangle in the region of Saxony. This region is known for its cultural richness and magnificent nature. The castle has a long and eventful tradition. There was a report of construction work being carried out on the current castle as early as 750 years ago. The castle has been renovated several times over the years and has been in the ownership of several proprietors.

The current owners purchased the castle in 1995 and completely renovated it from 1996 to 1998. The owners did everything to equip the castle in style and with love for detail. You will have an authentic apartment (approx. 100 m2) of which you can really feel the atmosphere of hundreds of years ago.

The castle has a large garden of 3,000 m2 and a large communal terrace of 200 m2. There is also a park measuring 16 ha where you can have great walks and enjoy the great nature. There are several free time pursuits in the direct vicinity such as horse riding, fishing, tennis, tobogganing and fishing, etc. This region is a real paradise for culture lovers. The castle is an ideal operating base for day trips to cities such as Berlin (2,5 hours), Potsdam, Wittenberg, Leipzig (1,5 hours) and Dresden (1,5 hours).
