Description:
Herrischried is situated 61 km to he south of Freiburg im Breisgau. Farmhouse Mattenhof is situated at a height of 950 m on the edge of the village of Wehrwalden and just 4 km from Herrischried. The farm house (with animals) is situated in a peaceful, slightly hilly position. The comfortable accommodation (70 m) is located on the ground floor with south facing balcony, offering lovely views. Large grassy sunbathing/playing area (approx. 4000 m ) with garden furniture, sun loungers and summer house with barbeque.

The Mattenhof ist located in the Nature park Southern Black Forest. In this attractive scenery, the contryside and the people can be explored on signposted hiking trails. You can even discover the hills and valleys of the clifty and romantic landscape. Given that we live close to two borders, daytrips to Switzerland or the nearby Alsace (France) can be easily planned. Other destinations could be as well the impressive animal and theme parks in the Southern Black Forest.
