You can explore the beautiful nature in the environment of Schmallenberg through one of the 27 hiking tracks, whether or not escorted by the ranger. Outright picturesque are the Sorpe- and Repetal from where along a rippling brook alternating landscape of woody hills and authentic half timbered village originated. Here you will still find the extremely cosy and hospitable German culture in one of the usually century old Gaststätten.
