Description:
This well equipped holiday home (ca. 50 m2) is situated on the wood edge, in the village of Gillenfeld, in the Eifel. You will have a beautiful view on the unspoilt nature of the Eifel from the home.

Gillenfeld is located in the heart of the volcanic Eifel, near the "Pulvermaar", the deepest crater lake north of the Alps. You can go swimming here and enjoy other water sports activities.
Gillenfeld, with its 1600 inhabitants, is directly located on the Maare-Moselle cycling route which runs from the regional capital, Daun, to the Moselle. In Daun you will find the "Forum Daun" where various concerts, theatre- and cabaret shows are organised. There is also a wide array of cosy restaurants with delicious regional cuisine, cafés and typical German "Biergärten".

There are excellent possibilities for mountain bikers in the Eifel too. Every year the town of Daun organises the "Vulkanbike-Eifel-Marathon" (early September).
