Description:
The holiday flat Eggenkopf (80m²) is in the first floor. This holiday farm with 3 flats is one km from the centre of Madfeld, between green hills and meadows.
You can find there a lot of animals: 3 Shetland-Ponys, small goats, small rabbits, 2 Border Collies, cats, and pigs. Furthermore there are cows, calves and chicken. You can buy always fresh products like milk, butter and bio-eggs from free running chicken.
Furthermore the farm integrates a gardenary for ornamental plants. All plants which are not sold at the market will be planted in the great garden around the holiday farm. Fresh vegetable for sale like salad, tomato and cucumbers will be cultivated from April until October.

Madfeld is a small village with very good leisure facilities for its tourists. There are vast forests with its national parks Diemelsee and Aabachtal around the village. For hiking, biking and Nordic walking there are hiking walks M1-M5 in the forest and around the village.

Madfeld has a leisure centre with a big play ground, soccer place, indoor swimming pool (8x25m) with sauna and two outdoor tennis places. All these facilities are free of charge for holiday guests.

In the winter Madfeld only has natural snow on 500m. But there are some very long hills for the children. They can ride down the hill by a sled or a bob and play all the day in the snow.
The next pist for skiing with lifts is in Willingen 25km, Bruchhausen 28km or Winterberg 40km.
