Description:
Holiday home in a detached villa in the beautiful Agia Fotia Bay on the south-eastern coast of Crete. The villa has a private garden and a large terrace. You'll find a beach just 400 metres away which is a seven minute walk or a few minutes by car. The villa was built by a Dutch engineer according to the highest standards and the holiday home is comfortably furnished. It is on the ground floor and has a private entrance and terrace. There is another holiday apartment above the accommodation. The terrace nestles amongst olive groves and is the perfect place to relax. Sun, sea and beach lovers can enjoy themselves here to the full.
There is little tourism in the surrounding area. As well as gorgeous beaches there are authentic Cretan villages and fishing ports, such as Makrigialos. You can enjoy walks and car trips to mountain villages eight kilometres inland. You can also visit the Males Gorges and the villages of Pefki and Zakros. The nearest city is Ierapetra which is twelve kilometres away. It is well worth taking a boat to the enchanting islands of Crissie and Koufounisi just off the coast. You can find quiet coves and beaches nearby even in the high season. The villa is ideal for those who wish to enjoy the real, unspoilt Greece.
