The apartment is situated in the 1st floor with an independent entrance. It makes a great base for visiting the various Val dAosta beauty spots and is the perfect place for a holiday with family or amongst friends. In the winter months, guests can go cross-country skiing just 4 km away in Fossaz and Col de Joux and a 25 km drive will see you down hill skiing in Pila, Courmayeur or La Thuile. For mountain walking fans, there are many relatively easy routes to Fallère (3061 m), Aoilletta (2616 m) or Mount Rosso (2943 m) with the different walks lasting between 2 and 3 hours. From Colle di Joux you can reach the Vertosan valley, a wonderful green oasis from where you can get to the Court de Bard by foot (offering spectacular views of Mont Blanc). Another gem is the Gran Paradiso National Park, close to the small town of San Nicolas.
A trip to Aosta is unmissable for those who love Italian cuisine. The town is well known for its great Roman monuments and its Franco-Italian culture. Worth a visit are the castles of Saint-Pierre and that of Sarre, once summer residence to the kings of Savoy... Whatever way you look at it, a great holiday in the heart of Valle dAosta awaits you!
