Description

Located in San Godenzo, this 2 –bedroom holiday home is encircled by woods and was previously Tuscany ancient hamlet. Perfect for nature lovers, it can house 6 people. You can enjoy a few refreshing dips in the shared swimming pool or enjoy meals in the furnished garden.
This flat has independent access to the garden, living room with fireplace and double sofa bed, two double bedrooms, bathroom with shower. Outside there is a large space for private use with a table for outdoor dining. Around the large and charming park that surrounds the whole Borgo, with the swimming pool and the barbecue. Free HIFI.

You can go fishing to the lake at 1 km. A few essential item and grocery can be bought from the stores at 2 km. if you want to enjoy local and International cuisines, then the restaurants are 2 km away.

This comfortable home has central heating and fireplace. You can enjoy a culinary evening in the furnished garden with grill. Kids can enjoy on the play equipments. You can bring 3 of your pets here and enjoy with them for a small fee. Children’s bed and high chair are available, so that your little ones can eat and sleep comfortably. You can wash your laundry in the shared washing machine.

Public transport is available 10 km away.

You can check in between 6 - 8 PM and check out between 9 - 10 AM.
It is possible to spot many kinds of wildlife such as roe-deer, deer, fallow-deer, wild-boars, porcupine, hawks, hares, pheasants and with a bit of luck the wolf. A few hundreds metres away, various offers can be availed of fishing, foot and horse trekking or mountain bike, along approved pathways (sentieri segnati C.A.I.) and the National Park and tracks and trails of the G.E.A.

In the vicinity one can visit several waterfalls such as the famous Acquacheta (described by Dante in his “canto XVI dell’Inferno”), or the ones of Calabuia, Pretella, Doccione, Pescino, also one can view the most prominent summits Mount Falterona (1654 m.)

One must not forget to see Passo del Muraglione (The Muraglione Pass) (907 m.) that takes its name from the great wall that was commissioned by the Grand Duke Leopoldo II in 1836, and gateway to the land of Romagna from which one can enjoy the spectacle of Falterona’s valley.

There, also visits can be organized into the Park where one can acquire first hand knowledge of its environs.

Wij zijn met 6 personen op vakantie met kinderen tussen de 11 en 20 jaar. Het huisje is hiervoor prima geschikt met 3 twee persoons bedden. Het heeft een prima keuken met vaatwasser. Er zijn meerdere vakantiehuisjes op een zeer sfeervol terrein midden in de natuur. De huisjes zijn zeer sfeervol. Het ligt tegen/in een nationaal park en voor natuurliefhebbers is het een ideale uitvalsbasis. De streek is bergachtig en de wegen zijn bochtig en smal. De weg er naar toe omschrijven onze kinderen als avontuur! Het is aan te raden goed contact te hebben met de mevrouw die je wegwijs maakt op het terrein. Dat lukt prima via whatsapp. Zij rijdt dan met je mee de eerste keer. Op het terrein is ook een ruimte met documentatiemateriaal over de omgeving, boeken, spelletjes voor de kinderen. Voor sportliefhebbers is er ook een kleine sportruimte maar daar hebben wij geen gebruik van gemaakt tot nu toe. Het zwembad zorgt voor de nodige verkoeling en wordt dagelijks onderhouden. De mevrouw die je wegwijs maakt is heel vriendelijk trots op het park en de omgeving. Wij zien haar hier dagelijks en is goed bereikbaar als er iets is. Wij genieten en zien een heel nieuwe kant van Toscane door in dit gebied onze vakantie te vieren.

Zeer vriendelijke dame die ons heeft ontvangen! Leuk huisje, leuke kamers. Aangenaam verrast! Enkele minpuntjes: Het is wel ver rijden tot je aan een supermarkt bent. In het dorpje in de buurt is er wel een klein winkeltje, maar het aanbod is beperkt. De weg van-naar de Borgo is ontzettend steil en in slechte staat. We hoorden wel heel veel van diegenen die boven ons verbleven. We misten matrasjes op de zetels aan het zwembad. Maar voor de rest was alles top! Er ligt ook een prachtige waterval onderaan de berg waarom de Borgo staat. Super om vanaf de Borgo tot daar te wandelen in een prachtige omgeving!

Top locatie. Veel met MTB gereden en motor gebruikt (BMW GS wel ideaal voor de streek). We hadden het ganse domein voor ons alleen wat super was. Dit was vroeger eigenlijk een klein dorp. En die sfeer is uniek. Ook vriendelijke mensen die altijd zeer bereidwillig waren. Niet alles was perfect maar ze deden hun best.

Vooral de natuur is erg mooi. Het landgoed ligt afgelegen en aangezien wij de enige huurders waren was het erg rustig, behalve in het weekend. Veel wandelaars ook boven ons. De huisjes zijn wel gehorig maar zoals gezegd dit was alleen in het weekend. Nicoletta is een hele aardige vrouw en erg begaan met haar gasten.

Ligging en juiste naam van het domein zijn "Borgo di Serignana" Het dorp waar dit domein ligt heet: "il Castagno D'Andrea" en niet San Godenzo. Het domein is zéér mooi en vooral rustig "afgelegen". Gebouwd in de middeleeuwen en mooi gerestaureerd uit bestaande materialen. Stijlvol ingericht,sanitair nieuw,en keuken in zijn oorpronkelijke staat gebracht voorzien van hedendaags komfort.(vaatwas,oven,) Microgolf,koffiezet niet aanwezig Uiterst geschikt voor wandelaars,niet voor deze die de omliggende steden wensen te bezoeken. Dicomano op 20km/30 min waar je alles vindt. Toegangsweg is zéér steile klim van 1km naar het domein is na 1km sterk dalende weg in slechte staat!. Niettegenstaande de omschreven minpunten heeft deze locatie ons bekoord omwille van zijn ligging,zwembad en mooie natuur. Wij zijn tevreden van Euro-Relais enkel duidelijk weg en naams omschrijving is de boodschap. Fam.De Groof Antwerpen
