You can practice (water)sport activities in the surrounding area such as windsurfing, hiking, mountaineering, or make a boat trip along the coast. There are various nature areas in the proximity where you can make beautiful walks. The lake Lagoa de Albufeira is at 1 km distance. Golf courses can be found in the vicinity, but culture lovers will find a way to entertain themselves as well. Due to its location near Lisbon (33 km) it is the ideal base to combine a beach holiday with a visit to the Portuguese capital, which is a highly recommended city to visit.
