The small village Hnilec is situated in the eastern part of the Slovak Paradise, approximately 20km south of Spisska Nova Ves. This place is an ideal starting point for excursions in the Slovak Paradise, which has become famous by its beauty spots such as deep dales and waterfalls. You can also swim wonderfully in the lake of Dedinky only 14km from your holiday destination. Tennis courts, swimming pool and a fitness centre is in Spisska Nova Ves, and good restaurants can be found in Mlynky.
