The holiday home is built of natural stone. 'La Cabaña' was a barn and has a history which probably goes back to the 14th Century. The building has been completely renovated and is now a comfortable holiday home. During renovation, the building's authentic character has been preserved and environmentally friendly solutions have been used. The home is full of atmosphere and is furnished in a modern style. There is a private swimming pool. The partly covered terrace offers splendid views of the surrounding landscape. Thanks to the secluded location, you will enjoy plenty of privacy.

When you are staying at Can Terrades, a visit to the city of Barcelona is easy to combine. For those who are travelling by car the journey to Barcelona takes about 1,5 hour.
You can also choose to travel by coach, there is a daily and direct connection to Barcelona from the village Besalú, situated 3 miles from Can Terrades.
If you choose to travel by airplane and you want to visit Barcellona for a few days we would recommend you to visit Barcelona at the beginning or at the end of your stay on Can Terrades.

Especially for hikers and bikers the early springtime and the fall is a beautiful period for a long or a short stay at Can Terrades.

Can Terrades has some good bikes which can be used (free)by guests.
For walkers there are several detailed trails, starting directly from Can Terrades, varying from 45 minutes to 4 hours

Groups (> 10 persons) can use a comfortable common room with fireplace, professional kitchen, terrace, wood-barbecue and beautiful view over the vineyard, the environment and the Pyrenees.
