The Romantica holiday home is in the front part of a beautifully restored Catalonian farmhouse or Masia. It is on the ground floor. There is a shared swimming pool. The building was once a stable area and has been converted into a comfortable, romantic holiday accommodation. The home retains its original splendid vaulting. The unit consists of interconnected spaces on different levels.
The covered private terrace can be reached from the living/ dining room. It enjoys a splendid view of the area. The swimming pool and its sun terrace can be reached by an outside stone stairway.

When you are staying at Can Terrades, a visit to the city of Barcelona is easy to combine. For those who are travelling by car the journey to Barcelona takes about 1,5 hour.
You can also choose to travel by coach, there is a daily and direct connection to Barcelona from the village Besalú, situated 3 miles from Can Terrades.
If you choose to travel by airplane and you want to visit Barcellona for a few days we would recommend you to visit Barcelona at the beginning or at the end of your stay on Can Terrades.

Especially for hikers and bikers the early springtime and the fall is a beautiful period for a long or a short stay at Can Terrades.

Can Terrades has some good bikes which can be used (free)by guests.
For walkers there are several detailed trails, starting directly from Can Terrades, varying from 45 minutes to 4 hours

Groups (> 10 persons) can use a comfortable common room with fireplace, professional kitchen, terrace, wood-barbecue and beautiful view over the vineyard, the environment and the Pyrenees.
