Holiday home is located in the region of Murcia in the Campo de Ricote (countryside), nestled in amongst the Sierra del Oro (Gold mountains) with breathtaking scenery. The friendly owners built two very comfortable holiday homes in their villa, one for up to 4 persons, the other one for 2 persons. The stylish holiday homes are fully equipped and internet connection is available. They have oil fired central heating installed for those chillier days and nights (usually only January and February). There are outdoor cooking/dinning facilities available. A welcome pack is included in the price!

The area is ideal for cycling mountain biking, bird watching, fishing, for artists, wine lovers or just to simply chill. Situated in two and a half acres of outstanding beauty-with an abundance of almond trees, a landscaped garden terrace/patio and swimming pool, you will feel totally relaxed from the minute you arrive. Ideally situated in heart of the countryside, but within easy reach of both San Javier (Murcia) and Alicante airports. You can also be at the beaches of the Costa Calida within 75 minutes. This area is known as the Valle de Ricote and produces an abundance of fruit including, oranges, lemons, peaches, apricots, almonds, cherries and grapes for wine making and eating. Ricote wine is made locally and is sweet and very strong.

The surrounding villages and countryside are very beautiful and still very Spanish. There are lots of traditional Spanish restaurants serving local dishes and Tapas. The river Segura nearby attracts many different species of birds and there are plenty of fish to be caught. There are many villages and towns within easy reach, all have a local fiesta which can last for up to two weeks! Within 20-50 minutes you will find e.g. Blanca, Ricote, Abaran, Bullas and Cieza. The scenery en route to these villages is very picturesque so you may want to take a slow ride to take it all in. In forty minutes you can be in the city of Murcia which is very beautiful and well worth exploring. Granada is about 2 hours away and Valencia 3 hours.
