Poblado Jirdana is an 18th century house, restored according to traditional building techniques and methods, resulting in an extremely well designed and versatile dwelling.
Upstairs, the straw loft has been converted into 2 double bedrooms. Downstairs you will find the bathroom, kitchen and lounge/diner. Outdoors there is a small patio where, in times gone by parties were held for family and friends when work on the farm was over. The patio gives access to the good-sized garden that leads on to the parking area. From the garden on clear days, you can make out the twin Islands of La Gomera and Tenerife and the colossal Mount Teide. The house enjoys a countryside location, offering health benefits and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for rest and relaxation. Poblado Jirdana is located in the north east of El Hierro Island, UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, 1999.
