This spacious, detached chalet for a maximum of 12 people is located in a wonderfully rural location in beautiful Gnesau, in the upper Gurktal on the south side of the Gurktal Alps in the sunny south of Carinthia, close to the well-known ski areas and Carinthian lakes, and its size makes it ideal for several families or a larger group . The chalet offers two comfortable living rooms (1 with a dining table, 1 with a seating area and both with a large balcony), two well-equipped kitchens, six bedrooms and four bathrooms, one of which has an integrated sauna and one with a washing machine and dryer. The chalet also offers a carport, a storage room for bicycles and a large garden with garden furniture. There is parking space for several cars at the chalet. In summer, Gnesau offers a wide selection for all hiking lovers, from leisurely circular hiking trails to alpine hiking tours, but there is also a lot on offer for enthusiastic cyclists. Due to the central location, all larger bathing lakes such as Lake Ossiach, Lake Millstättersee and Lake Wörthersee with the sophisticated seaside resort of Velden as well as all larger cities (Feldkirchen, Villach and Klagenfurt) can be reached in a maximum of 35 minutes by car. Go skiing, snowboarding or ski touring in one of the nearby ski areas Turracher Höhe with 42 kilometers of slopes, Falkert Heidi Alm with 11 kilometers of slopes, Hochrindl in Sirnitz with 20 kilometers of slopes, Bad Kleinkirchheim with over 100 kilometers of slopes and 2 thermal baths or Gerlitzen Alpe with 52 kilometers of slopes, all are in Approximately 30 minutes by car. There are plenty of shops for your daily needs directly in town or in Feldkirchen, as well as a good selection of restaurants.

Recently stayed at this place at the end of June. Initially found the place quite unclean with many cobwebs. It had obviously not been used recently. The downstairs rooms in the basement were very damp, and not really useable for sleeping so as we were 12 people we had to use the lounges to sleep un upstairs. On Sunday morning when there, we woke to find the basement flooding, as the drains were blocked.....
