Description
This luxurious, detached chalet for a maximum of 10 people is located on the slope next to the ski slope with ski-in/ski-out, in a quiet location and yet within walking distance of the picturesque mountain village of Hohentauern in Styria, with a great view of the surrounding mountain landscape.
The entire chalet, with the exception of the basement, has underfloor heating. The living room has an attractive gas fireplace for cool evenings, digital TV and a sunny sunroom. The open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a Boretti induction hob with two ovens, a microwave, a large refrigerator with freezer compartment and various kitchen appliances.
The chalet has four bedrooms, two of which have a balcony and one with an extra stackable bed. A high chair and a cot are available and the stairs upstairs have a stair gate. The bathrooms include a rain shower, a bubble bath, a hairdryer and a Finnish sauna.
There is a large terrace surrounding the chalet with luxurious patio furniture. In the basement there is a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a games room with digital TV and games. There is also a ski room with ski boot warmer and an open garage.
The well-known and traditional family ski area Ski Hohentauern offers 11 kilometers of slopes is only 300m away and various hiking trails are also right on the doorstep. Summer is best known for the many lakes, thermal baths and the impressive Hohe Tauern mountain range. The more than 200 days of sunshine per year and the snow-sure ski area make this area a perfect holiday region at any time of the year.

Date of stay: February 2022Tot nu toe:. Huisje is fantastisch. Kinderen 7, 9 en 11 jaar) op skiles, is drama. Veel te grote groep waardoor het heel lang duurt voordat ze ( na uitleg skileraar,) kunnen gaan skiën. Kinderen klagen over dat ze zo lang moeten wachten en daardoor zere benen krijgen.

Date of stay: July 2021 - August 2021Het huis in Hohentauern is van alle gemakken voorzien, schoon en een heerlijk verblijf met prachtig uitzicht. De wifi doet het maar streamen (youtube, netflix) is een uitdaging. De toegang naar het huis was voor ons een verrassing. De weg naar het huis is redelijk steil met kleine steentjes. Normaliter prima te doen maar wij hadden een kar achter de auto met een motor erop. waardoor het een uitdaging werd om naar boven te komen. Dat de weg naar het huis toe steil is met kleine steentjes staat nergens beschreven.

Date of stay: February 2020Een fantastisch huis op een fantastische locatie. Het huis is heerlijk ruim en alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Het geeft je daardoor ook een heerlijk vakantiegevoel. Ook het uitzicht naar buiten is fantastisch. Je hebt vanuit het huis zicht op de piste en kunt dus ook zo vanaf de piste naar het huis skieen. Het skigebied is niet heel groot maar fantastisch als je met kinderen bent en/of van rust en natuur houdt! Het is zelfs in het hoogseizoen geen dringen geblazen bij de lift! Aan de achterkant van het huis bevindt zich rondom een veranda met een heerlijk uitzicht. En waardoor er vaak wel een plekje is om lekker in de zon te zitten. Daar het gebied hoger ligt is het vrij sneeuwzeker en kunnen kinderen direct vanuit het huis in de sneeuw spelen. Ideaal!!

Date of stay: December 2019Die Ankunft war nicht so toll naja eher schlecht! Wir mussten Sie über die Ankunftszeit vorher informieren das haben wir ca. 3-4 Stunden zuvor gemacht. Als wir im Ort angekommen sind konnten wir nicht zum Haus vorfahren weil alles zugeschneit und leider nicht geräumt war wir blieben im Schnee stecken :( ( wir haben ein Allrad Auto und an Ketten auch gedacht!) Zum Glück war da dieser Mann der uns mit dem Traktor rausgezogen hat . Vielen Dank nochmal an den netten Herrn ! Die Schäden am Auto müssen wir jetzt auch noch beseitigen :( Als ob das noch nicht genug wäre konnten wir ca. 1-1,5 Stunden nicht ins Haus rein da man den Schlüssel nicht rausholen konnte und wir mit zwei kleinen Kindern in der Kälte stehen mussten. Das alles eher ein dickes Minus! Das Haus war an sich sehr schön außer dass ein Lattenrost kaputt war.
