Description

This detached, south-facing family chalet for a maximum of 10 people is located in the Chaletpark Hohentauern, in the middle of the village of Hohentauern (snow-sure altitude 1,275 meters) and practically directly at the ski lift. The detached family chalet is modern, built of wood and equipped with every luxury imaginable.

The chalet offers a modern living room with a sofa bed and dining table, an open fully equipped kitchen, 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, winter garden, a south-facing terrace and an in-house wellness area with sauna and shower. You can park directly under the carport and there is a storage room for ski equipment. From the winter garden with panoramic glazing you have a wonderful view of the mountains, the ski lift and the village. You also have a wonderful view of the mountains from the spacious terrace.

The ski lift to the well-known and traditional family ski area Ski Hohentauern with 11 kilometers of slopes is only 300m away and various hiking trails are right on the doorstep. In every season, the chalet and the immediate surroundings offer you and your family the opportunity to enjoy an active and relaxing holiday.

Summer is best known for the many lakes, thermal baths and the impressive Hohe Tauern mountain range. The more than 200 days of sunshine per year and the snow-sure ski area make this area a perfect holiday region at any time of the year.

The reception can only be reached by telephone on Wednesdays.

Het is een mooi huisje fijne ligging alleen op de site is alles achterhaald. Er zijn meerdere huisjes bijgebouwd. Huisje Wellness klopt niet meer sauna werkt wel maar zoals op foto's jacuzzi geen afstandsbediening eigenaar geeft aan al veel jaren dit niet werkt. Ook is de douche onder wat stoom cabine zou moeten zijn in de jaren vervangen voor gewone douche. Jammer terwijl je er toch voor betaald.

Het adres was prima te vinden. Tip: geef het adres van restaurant Passhöhe aan op de papieren, omdat daar de sleutel moet worden gehaald. De accommodatie is goed, prettige en ruime huizen, goed voorzien van spullen voor veel mensen (tafels/banken/stoelen/bedden, etc.). Het terras is ruim met comfortabele (lig)stoelen. Aandachtspunt is de staat van de extra (luxe) apparatuur: de massagedouche functioneerde niet en stond op de lijst voor vervanging, toch vervelend met 8 personen als van de twee badkamers er één uitvalt; de sauna én het bad in de tweede badkamer gaven lekkage waardoor er ook niet echt fijn gebruik van gemaakt kon worden. Verder ging de waakvlam van de verwarmings- en heetwater ketel telkens uit waardoor wij diverse keren 'smorgens onder een koude douche stonden. Het geheel is bij de huiseigenaar gemeld maar echt een oplossing is er niet gegeven. De omgeving is rustig, een mooie wandelomgeving maar voor activiteiten (raften, winkelen, zwemmen) moet je toch een eind rijden, daarvoor is in de buurt weinig gelegenheid. Dichtstbijzijnde grotere plaats Trieben stelt niet veel voor, Qua eetgelegenheden is er weinig keus. Al met al een leuk gezinshuis als je voor de rust komt en met elkaar wilt zijn.
