Date of stay: May 2018Groot huis met prachtige tuin, zodra je het huis binnenkomt waan je jezelf in de sfeer van de BBC serie üpstairs-down stairs. Er zijn voldoende ruime slaapkamers. Als je op zoek bent naar een minpunt dan is dat de trap naar de benedenverdieping (personeelstrap) die is smal. Bij mooi weer kan je buitenom maar bij regen is deze trap een drukke snelweg. De keukens en inrichting is prima in orde. Buiten eten is het leukste, maar de verblijven op de eerste verdieping zijn voldoende groot om met een gezelschap van 30 personen spelletjes te doen, of gewoon afgezonderd in je ivoren torentje een boek te lezen. De omgeving is fraai, geoefende wandelaars kunnen overal hun slag slaan en wielrenners vinden talloze heuvelachtige fietsroutes. Ben je wat slechter ter been dan moet je niet naar deze omgeving of dit huis gaan.
