Description

This small hamlet is right in the middle of a huge forest; the calm is absolute and there are endless magical views! In the heart of this haven of peace, this village house from 1849 has been completely renovated to guarantee you charm and comfort.

A small river runs through the garden, overlooked by a pleasant south-facing terrace, perfect for enjoying a good barbecue in the sun.

Behind the house, another small terrace adjoins a large sauna.
Bed linen and bath towels are provided.

The house is ideal for cyclists (there is a shelter for your bikes and the house is labeled 'Bienvenue vélo!'). For walkers: the owners will be happy to show you the countless walks to take from the house. We are right in the Viroin-Hermeton Natural Park, land of mountain biking, trails where you can go and listen to the roar of the deer in the forest.

The house is part of the Way of St James, and the owners, who accept that you put up one or more tents in their garden, offer you a catering service at a reasonable price (dishes at 8 euros per person) and only local products.

A great address to recharge your batteries in an authentic way.

Gezellig huisje De slaapkamers op het 1 ste verdiep zijn heel goed de slaapkamer boven met het 2 persoonsbed was eigenlijk slapen op een houten plank met een topper op niet echt de naam bed waardig De tuin is heel gezellig om in te zitten ook de sauna hoek is oke Het is een mooie streek

Heerlijk cool huis, groot van alle gemakken voorzien met een heerlijke grote tuin waarin we oa morgens begonnen met ontbijt. Rustige omgeving met veel mountainbike paden.

Aangename huiseigenaars. Huis was netjes. Zeer goede bedden. Een aangename ruimte op de eerste verdieping. Zeer rustig gelegen. Voor mensen die van rust houden is het ideaal. Een groot minpunt is de geur van de badkamer op de eerste verdieping. Dat was niet te doen om je daar te wassen en naar toilet te gaan. De geur was bij momenten ook te ruiken op de eerste verdieping en in de slaapkamers die grenzen aan de badkamer. Gelukkig was er boven nog een badkamer met toilet. Alles was wel netjes. Op drie km een buurtwinkel en bakker. Mooie en prachtige wandelingen gemaakt. Om de tv te kunnen gebruiken moet je een laptop meehebben om op aan te sluiten. Binnen geen bereik met gsm. Buiten wel. Internet was OK.

De toegangsweg was een lange weg met zeer slecht wegdek. Het huis zelf is mooi en comfortabel met enige minpunten. Enigszins afgelegen, mooie natuur.
