Description
The Ancienne Gendarmerie is in a quiet side street, approx. 100 metres from the Atlantic so that you have a marvellous view over the sea and the Ile de Groix from your rooms. Le Pouldu invites you to swim and take long walks on the cliff paths. The surrounding countryside is densely wooded and there are 5 different sandy bays within walking distance. Just follow the roar of the sea to the beach!
Shopping facilities (for bread, vegetables, groceries and foreign newspapers) are approx. 2 minutes walk from the house (only open in the peak season). Outside the season there is a bakery and a grocery shop 1 km away. There are other shops and supermarkets in nearby villages and towns. It is possible to buy freshly caught fish and seafood in the small romantic port of Doelan.
Locally there is a pancake bar, restaurants, a pizzeria and cafés. A very good fish restaurant in the port of Le Pouldu is highly recommended (some catering establishments are only open in the peak season).

Date of stay: July 2022Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Wohnung war sauber. Leider ist alles etwas heruntergekommen. Eine Zimmertür konnte nicht geschlossen werden, weil sich das Holz verzogen hat. Die Benutzung des Ceranfeldes war möglich, allerdings wurden jeweils die gegenüberliegenden Platten heiß. Der Fettfilter des Umluftabzugs ist schon länger nicht gewechselt worden. Die Wohnung hat keinen Staubsauger. Auch ein Handrührgerät wäre nicht schlecht. Die defekte Spülmaschine wurde dankenswerterweise nach sechs Tagen durch ein Neugerät ersetzt, die defekte Waschmaschine nach sechs Tagen repariert. Teller und Besteck waren vorhanden, allerdings nur drei Weingläser. Für kleine Töpfe gab es keinen Deckel. Am Ende war auch die Klospülung defekt. Die Tür zum Fahrradschuppen war ebenfalls defekt von Anfang an. Alles in allem ärgerlich für 167€ am Tag.

Date of stay: July 2019 - August 2019Goede ontvangst, accommodatie is ruim en op een mooie locatie, echter is het interieur behoorlijk gedateerd en schoonmaak kan ook beter. Uitzicht is heel mooi en de bakker zit op de hoek.
