Description

This beautiful manor house was the staff quarters of a château built in 1775. It was later owned by Paul Peytral, the Minister of the Interior at the beginning of the last century. The current owners have renovated the entire estate, which consists of the château and several outbuildings.

This concerns the left part of the manor. Privacy is guaranteed and you have your own driveway, terrace, garden and parking space. Every detail has been designed with your comfort in mind (top quality king-size beds, built-in vacuum cleaner, one shower or bathroom per bedroom, flat-screen TV, internet access, stereo, DVD player, etc.) without sacrificing the authenticity of the house, which they have tried to respect: antique furniture, traditional renovation materials, fireplace, stone walls and staircase, etc. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and hotel quality linen.

The property is set in 10 hectares of land. There is a pond where you can go boating. A large playground with swing and trampoline. The cottage has its own private garden. A large pond adorns the beautiful garden and gives it a romantic feel. It is a lovely place to spend the summer days.

You can also use the new spa equipped with a hammam and a jacuzzi for 6 people, a fitness room and an outdoor 15x5m pool (mid-June to mid-September).

The surrounding area will satisfy the most varied tastes: castles and historic towns, D-Day beaches (Caen Memorial), water sports, horse riding, hiking, etc.

een prachtig gerenoveerd landhuis op het terrein van een chateau. Prachtig gemeubileerd met een grote keuken en een uiterst romantische trap naar de grote slaapkamers elk met een eigen douche. Er valt eigenlijk heel weinig op aan te merken. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Nagenoeg het enige geluid wat je hoort, zijn de vogels, die de hele tijd laten weten, dat zij het zeer naar hun zin hebben.

Vriendelijk ontvangst en alles goed uitgelegd door de eigenaar. Goed ingerichte keuken. Prima bedden. Alleen de stoelen zijn te klein en de bank zit erg slecht. Eigenaar heeft beloofd daar iets aan te doen. Prachtige en rustige omgeving. Een hele leuke vakantieplek.

de eigenaar was op vakantie op het moment van onze aankomst (wij waren hiervan op de hoogte per mail) en de tuinman deed de rondleiding, nu ja, rondleiding... behalve het aanwijzen van voor de hand liggende dingen wist hij niets te vertellen. (typische karaktertrek van de tuinman, volgens de eigenaar.. maar daar hebben wij natuurlijk geen boodschap aan.. Het is een prachtig gebouw in een prachtige omgeving!! zeker nog een bezoek waard!! woning mooi gerenoveerd en in een uitzonderlijk mooi en rustig kader gelegen! We voelden ons ook bijna kasteelheer...Echter.. de inboedel van het vakantiehuis is wat minder.. de zetel (voor twee personen) laat echt te wensen over en is meer dan versleten en nodigt absoluut niet uit om te gaan in zitten, en er is te weinig zitplaats voor zes personen in de living. Volgende voorzieningen waren op de site van Belvilla beloofd, maar waren niet voorhanden: Open haard, barbecue, pingpongtafel, (werkende) stereoinstallatie. De beloofde wasdroger was defect bij onze aankomst en in de keuken ontbrak een speciaal doorsijpelstuk naar de thermoskan van de koffiezet, zodat koffiezetten bijna onmogelijk was tenzij met heel inventief bricoleren.. Het huisje was heel proper bij aankomst en het linnen rook heel fris. Er was wel slechts één vaathanddoek in de keuken (wat weinig voor een hele week..) . Wifi zwak en valt soms weg. Kortom: de inboedel (inclusief de comfortvoorzieningen) hebben een flinke upgrade nodig (voor de huurprijs van 1200 tot 1700€ voor een week ondermaats..) en dan is deze vakantiewoning een echte parel in Normandië!!!

Supermooi gerenoveerd en ingericht. Leuk als je van karakter oude huizen houdt. Tuin op zich lekker ruim om te spelen en te bbq-en met kids. Verder niks te doen in de buurt. Ritje naar strand niet heel erg dichtbij. Het meer is verwaarloosd en vies. Muggenpoel. Zitkamer mist een bank om lekker te zitten met meerdere mensen. Andere woning lijkt leuker en zou dus duurder moeten zijn.
