From the holiday home you walk towards the center of Cressensac. Here you will find a fine restaurant, and you can go there for groceries, the bank and a market on Sunday. You are in the Lot, which puts you at a short distance from a wealth of sights. For example, visit the famous Rocamadour, the caves of Padirac and the monumental Château de Castelnau. You are close to the Corrèze department. Therefore, why not try a canoe trip on the Dordogne river. Afterwards you can go to the famous Souillac (17 km) for a snack and a drink.
This natural stone house, the restoration and renovation of which were completed in 2008, is situated at a pleasant distance from the village of Cressensac. You have access to your own private swimming pool and a fully enclosed south-facing garden with a lawn, a playground for the children, a gravel area with a garden seat and boules balls, a badminton set and a barbecue. All the ingredients for a fun evening! You can start a new book on the covered terrace. Indoors, the interior is very complete and well maintained. You will feel at home in no time!

Date of stay: August 2019Vlotte overdracht van sleutel door de eigenaar (die ernaast woont). Aan de rand van het dorp maw zeer rustig en toch alles nabij. Mooie & ruim huis met nog enkele authentieke elementen. 2 slaapkamers op gelijkvloers Aandachtspunten: oude stoffen zetel in het salon echt aan vervanging toe. Ter info: tuinmeubilair in plastiek. Opmerking: spreek bij aankomst héél duidelijk af of jullie wel of niet de poetsdienst op het einde wensen (staat als een "optie" vermeld maar is sowiezo contant te betalen, zelfs als je zelf het volledige huis al grondig gepoetst hebt !)

Date of stay: August 2019Zeer vriendelijke huiseigenaar. De bedden en matrassen zijn dringend aan vervanging toe. Verder heeft het huis alles om een fijne vakantie te hebben. De omgeving (Lot / Dordogne) is zeer mooi.

Date of stay: June 2018 - July 2018bij aankomst was het even zoeken naar het vakantiehuis wegens ontbreken van huisnummer. Na contact eigenaar hebben we het snel gevonden. Contact was wel enkel in het franstalig te doen. Huis was ruim netjes. alle comfort aanwezig. wel veel oude meubelen maar in orde. Spijtig dat de eigenaar niks veranderd aan de vorige commentaren zoals versleten pannen uit 2013. Groot min punt was de grote hoeveelheid vliegen die zowel buiten als binnen aanwezig waren. Niet aangenaam om te eten en te slapen. vliegenvangers ophangen in het huis hielp maar waren door de grote hoeveelheid snel vol. Bij aankomst mekte we een parasol die stuk was. Hebben dit onmiddellijk gemeld maar deze is niet vervangen geweest.Rond het huis enkel kleine losse kiezeltjes waardoor ons dochtertje van 1 jaar niet zo comfortabel kon rond kruipen buiten zonder beschadigde knieën

Date of stay: September 2013Een heerlijk ruim huis met zwembad op de grens tussen Lot, Corrèze en Dordogne. Het huis is prachtig gerenoveerd en goed ingericht. Een grote keuken ook met alle apparatuur, alleen de 3 koekenpannen waren zeer versleten. Jammer dat er geen aandacht is besteed aan de tuin, slechts drie dode bomen. In de directe omgeving zijn verschillende middeleeuwse dorpjes,het bezichtigen zeker waard, zoals Martel, Autoire, Creysse, Loubressac, Bretenoux en het wat meer bekende Argentat.

Date of stay: June 2013Heerlijk rustig gelegen vakantiehuis met veel ruimte in en om het huis. De plaats Cressensac heeft weinig te bieden maar het Middeleeuwse plaatjes Martel ligt op slechts 20 minuten rijden. Daarnaast ideale uitvalsbasis voor de grotten van Padirac en het prachtige Rocamadour. Het zwembad bij het huisje is onverwarmd maar ligt de hele dag in de zon en daarmee snel op temperatuur. Wel oppassen met kleine kinderen want het is niet omheind. Eigenaar spreekt alleen Frans.
