Description

Stay in a three-room bungalow at the Club Atlantique bungalow park, a car-free holiday park on the coast of Les Landes, about halfway between Bordeaux and Biarritz. At the front and back there are patios with seating where you can enjoy the sun. The park has 240 bungalows, of which 100 are hired out as holiday homes. The bungalow plots are spread across beautifully landscaped paths and green areas, where children can freely play and amuse themselves. At the centre lies a large enclosed swimming pool surrounded by an inviting sun terrace with loungers, chairs and benches. A bar/restaurant with outdoor seating adjoins the pool.

Various activities are organised in the park, such as sports tournaments, gymnastics, aqua jogging and bike tours. Plenty of fun for the children with games, and there is also a jeu-de-boules pitch and a tennis court. The park borders on a wood where you can take wonderful hikes.

Club Atlantique is situated on the 'Route des Lacs' in Lit-et-Mixe , home to a range of beautiful lakes. This include Uza at 5 km and the lake at Léon (20 km), with its nice playground and little beach.

Leuke omgeving veel groen. Strand maar op enkele plaatsen te bereiken waardoor mega-druk. Accommodatie was super! Fantastische gastheer en gastvrouw, super-huisje. Enkel zwembad was niet verwarmd en echt héél koud.

Heerlijke vakantie gehad! Vriendelijke beheerder, veel te doen (zwemmen,tennis) op het park. Iets gedateerde huisjes, maar ach wij waren voornamelijk buiten! Dicht bij het strand en het gezellige dorp. Kortom was top

Het weer was niet altijd het beste maar het was daar een prachtige locatie om wandelingen te doen en dan is het weer niet zo belangrijk. Fantastische bossen goede wandelpaden maar wel slecht bewijzerd. Het park oud bollig en de bungalows hoewel er een poging wordt gedaan zeker niet in orde. De eerste dag zijn wij iets gaan drinken in de plaatselijke bar en heb moeten uitleggen hoe hun koffie machine werkte. De tafels aldaar waren vies en het was daar zeker niet gezellig. Gaan eten in het dorp is wel aan te raden. Wij hebben daar een paar keer op verschillende plaatsen goe gegeten.

Met gratis bus naar strand; voor de deur opstappen; op strand uitstappen. Auto-accident gehad maar wat een lieve mensen ter plaatse! Heerlijke vakantie gehad! Als je "echt " in France wil zijn moet je dit huis boeken!

Prima plek voor een rustige vakantie. Net, ruim en compleet appartement in een niet al te groot maar wel rustig park met aardige eigenaren, goed zwembad, 10 minuten van het strand met vrij ruige zee in verder prima omgeving tussen de prachtige steden Bordeaux en San Sebastian met daartussen de 'must-sees' Dune de Pilat, Arcachon, Bayonne en Biarritz. Een aanrader om deze hoek van Frankrijk te verkennen!

Prima plek om van hieruit fietstochten te maken in de bosrijke omgeving. Beheerders van de vakantiewoningen zijn erg gastvrij en vriendelijk. Apartement is eenvoudig ingericht en heeft aan de voor- en achterkant een terras.
