Hiding in the Provencal hills and surrounded by vineyards, this is a characteristic 5-bedroom villa in La Motte. In the garden, there is a private swimming pool with an outdoor shower and loungers to enjoy the sunny days. You can stay here in comfort with a large family of 8 members or two smaller families.
This area comprises of rolling hills covered with pine trees and the typical sound of the cicadas. The town centre of La Motte is just 2 km away if you wish to wander through the old streets. Restaurants and supermarkets are at 3 km if you wish to explore locally. There is a lake at 15 km, a short drive away, for a pleasant day out. The sea beach with water sports options is a half-an-hour drive away.
Equipped with the air-conditioning facility, the holiday rental in France ensures a comfortable stay. On the private roofed terrace, you can enjoy barbecuing over charcoal in the evenings. In the private garden, you can relax and play ball games with children.
Nice airport is 80 km.

Date of stay: May 2023 - June 2023This is a very well renovated historic property with all the necessary needs for a nice holiday. The owners obviously use it as well so it has lots of attention to the details you require. Some might not like the fact that there is no TV and low data Wifi. We were early in the season, May, renters so the pool was too chilly and could have been cleaner. Terrific wine available everywhere and lots of quality restaurants and markets. You will need the list of market days in the villages they are super.

Date of stay: September 2022Het huis was op zich best ok, maar wel met enkele gebreken. Veel lawaai in de omgeving / zwembad werd de laatste 3/4 niet meer gekuist en dit terwijl er toen veel wind was en dus extra afval in het zwembad / contactpersoon heb ik zeker 5x gebeld en er werd nooit opgenomen of terug gebeld / veel reukhinder vanwege een slecht afwateringssysteem.

Date of stay: July 2022Het huis in La Motte is prachtig. Het huis is ruim met 5 slaapkamers en een grote keuken en de tuin is heerlijk met een fijn zwembad. Buiten kun je ‘s avonds heerlijk overdekt zitten. Door aanwezigheid van een notenboom in de tuin zijn er weinig muggen. Dat is echt fijn! De lokatie is ook prima en het feit dat het huis direct aan een weg ligt, is geen probleem. Toch ook een paar punten waar wij minder enthousiast over zijn. We hadden last van muizen in huis. Met name ‘s nachts hielden ze ons wakker met ge-ren achter de muren. Al het eten was opgeruimd, maar het hinderden ze niet dit huis te bezoeken. Het huis heeft airco op de BG aan 2e etage, maar niet op de 1e etage. Dat maakt 4 slaapkamers die zich op de 1e etage bevinden erg warm. Tot slot nog, de beheerder spreekt enkel Frans. En aangezien wij dat niet spreken, is het niet mogelijk te communiceren als je iets nodig hebt. Verzoeken als extra handdoeken/lakens, vraag over aanwezigheid zwembadlicht en problemen met voordeursleutel werd niet of nauwelijks op gereageerd. Terwijl ik dit schrijf zijn we halverwege ons verblijf. Ondanks de muizen genieten we van onze vakantie in La Motte. Voor ons al weer het 14e jaar in deze regio. Dat zegt genoeg lijkt me, mocht een volgende gast twijfelen over deze streek. Maar de muizenplaag zal ons doen besluiten volgend jaar naar een andere villa uit te kijken.
