This tasteful 18th-century holiday home in Thenon with an authentic farm vibe comes with 5 cozy rooms for 10. With a private pool and a lot of space, the home is ideal for a family with kids. A spacious house in the middle of nature with a breathtaking view of 180 degrees across the valley.
The home offers convenient distances to a lot of popular spots around. Montignac water sports can be enjoyed in a 15-minute ride. Lascaux, the Vézère valley with its rich culture, festivals, churches and castles are within easy reach.
This is an ideal place for a family or friendly couples with children. It offers a garden, several terraces, and a playground. Plenty of space to read, play a game, watch the birds -or deer- or have a good conversation. But guaranteed that a few times a day everyone will visit the meter-long table on the large terrace to enjoy the phenomenal view and the delicacies that the Perigord Noir offers. The home is located in the heart of the Dordogne with all its sights. Good 4G internet connection, suitable for home office.

Date of stay: July 2023Wat was dit een aangenaam verblijf! Een zeer mooie accommodatie, met prachtig zicht. Je kan er volop genieten van de rust. Dit was echt een TOP locatie met een prachtig infinity zwembad. Ook binnen in het huisje is het zeer mooi, ruim en prima verzorgd! De mensen die het onderhoud komen doen, zijn enorm in de weer om het verblijf voor u zo perfect mogelijk te laten verlopen, met alle respect voor de privacy. Een absolute aanrader!

Date of stay: July 2020- Aankomst: Je mocht gewoon het huisje binnengaan (sleutel zit op de deur). Er is geen contact met de eigenaars van de woning. Ze zijn wel telefonisch bereikbaar wanneer er problemen zijn en komen dan onmiddellijk langs of sturen zo snel mogelijk iemand. - Accommodatie: We reisden met 6 volwassenen en een tweeling van 14 maanden. We maakten gebruik van de slaapkamers op de eerste verdieping (met op de grootste kamer 2 babybedjes, eentje was aanwezig, het andere namen we zelf mee). Er zijn op de bovenste verdieping ook nog 2 slaapkamers aanwezig, maar deze zijn eigenlijk enkel geschikt voor kinderen. Heel erg warm (wel in alle kamers een ventilator aanwezig) en heel lage bedden. De keuken is volledig uitgerust met alle toestellen die je nodig hebt. Er zijn ook voldoende borden, bestek,... aanwezig. Buiten is er een mooi overdekt terras met een prachtig uitzicht op de omliggende velden. Er is ook een prachtig zwembad en een mooie, grote tuin waar we volop gebruik van gemaakt hebben. Er staan nog 2 andere huisjes op het domein, waar je helemaal geen overlast van hebt. Verder staat er ook nog een gemeenschappelijke speeltuin op het domein met schommel en wip. - omgeving: Je kan ten volle genieten van de rust en de stilte. Het huisje ligt niet ver van Thenon, waar je alle basisvoorzieningen hebt. Het is ook maar een half uurtje rijden naar Montignac. Een ander mooi dorpje dat zeker het bezoeken waar is, is Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère.
