Description

This idyllic holiday home is situated in a quiet location in the climatic health resort of Elend, close to the well-known holiday resort of Braunlage. The house is equipped with amenities such as a sauna and a terrace with barbecue area. It is also possible to hire bicycles and sledges.
The accommodation is located in the Oberharz, an extremely fascinating region in both summer and winter. In the winter months, you can choose between the ski areas of Braunlage, Wurmberg and Hohegeiß. These offer ideal conditions for both beginners and advanced skiers and extend up to a maximum altitude of around 1000 metres. Cross-country skiers will find numerous routes in the surrounding area.
In summer, the surrounding area invites you to explore the Upper Harz nature reserve, the Brocken (the highest mountain in the Harz) and the World Heritage towns of Quedlinburg and Goslar. For sporting activities, there are excellent opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, tobogganing, tennis and much more. Quad bikes and bicycles can also be hired on site, including guided quad bike tours.

Wir haben das Haus für ein Wochenende gebucht. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt mit allen nötigen Küchengeräten und Küchenutensilien. Alles war sauber und in einem einwandfreien Zustand. Die Betreuung vom Vermieter vor Ort war perfekt.

Den Schlüssel erhält man von einer sehr unfreundlichen Verwalterin oder was auch immer diese Frau für eine Funktion hat. Wer am Abreisetag nach 10 Uhr (festgelegte Abreisezeit) immer noch im Haus ist, dem wird sofort mit Nachzahlungsforderungen für den gesamten Folgetag!!! gedroht. Wir haben das Haus 1030 Uhr fast fluchtartig verlassen um der angedrohten Nachzahlung zu entgehen. Dabei ging es nur ums Prinzip. Wir hätten noch 15 Minuten gebraucht und wären dann ohnehin raus gewesen. Ein Zeitrahmen der sicher drin gewesen wär. Es war niemand zu sehen, dem wir bei Reinignungsarbeiten oder sonstigen Tätigkeiten behindert hätten. Dabei ist das nur ein Beispiel für mehrere unfreundliche Begegnungen mit der Verwalterin. Ansonsten kann man aber über das Haus und auch das Umfeld kaum was Negatives sagen und die Gegend ist ohnehin nur empfehlenswert. Ein rundum gelungenes Wochenende, bis auf den Wermutstropfen mit der Verwalterin.
