Description

This beautiful cottage with a bedroom and private garden is set in Cisternino. Suitable for three adults or couples with two kids, the cottage has a terrace ideal for barbecues.
The region has several attractions including Castel del Monte, Otranto, Gallipoli, and Castellana Grotte. The nearest beach rests at 15 km. Supermarkets, as well as eateries, are not at all far from this cottage, just 1.5 km away.
Parking is available here. Electric heating is offered to keep the interiors of this accommodation warm. There is a living room with a fireplace and a double sofa bed. You will find a separate dining room. A radio and WiFi are provided for your entertainment. An oven, wood cooker, coffee machine, and fridge-freezer are at your disposal. You can request a separate bed for kids.
Salento Airport is less than 60 km away.

We will send you detailed instructions on how to reach the Trullo il Tesoro. We will ask you to contact us at least one hour before arrival. June and September are the best months to experience Puglia in our opinion, as the prices are lower, the temperature are milder and there even less people around. However July and August have lots of activities. Our location is in Valle d'Itria, strategically placed in the middle of Puglia, so you can reach with daily round trips every corner of it. Besides the white sand dunes and the Torre Guaceto natural reserve, within 20 minutes drive, you can span daily from the bottom tip of Puglia - south of Otranto - to the Gargano beaches north, to the inland towns of Matera and Altamura, to the long beaches of the coast north of Gallipoli. In this region every village and town in summer has cultural or folk activities, and gems of art from several centuries are spread all over Puglia. Horse riding, Biking, Kite surfing, Wind surfing and Diving schools and excursion centers are within 30 minutes reach. We zijn vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar en kregen een goede uitleg over het huisje en de omgeving. Het is een mooi huisje met een typisch Trulli dak waardoor de slaapkamer koel genoeg bleef. Vanaf het terras hebben we genoten van het uitzicht over de streek. Cisternino was voor ons een goed basis van waaruit we de mooie omliggende streek en stadjes (als Alberobello en Locorotondo) hebben kunnen verkennen. Maar ook hebben we genoten van onze uitstapjes naar Matera en naar de kust. Verder vinden wij het oude centrum van Cisternino, met name nadat het 's avonds tot leven komt, een aangename plek waar je ook goed kunt eten. Kortom, we hebben het hier erg naar ons zin gehad.

De trullo stond op net buiten het stadje. Het was makkelijk te vinden door de toegezonden route beschrijving. prachtig landelijk gelegen met een mooi uitzicht over de vallei.

Zeer mooi gelegen, gezellig huisje met fantastische tuin! Veel leuke stadjes in de directe omgeving. Ook mooie stranden waar het nog lekker rustig is.

Bij mooi weer is het heerlijk toeven op het terras, maar bij regen en kou (15 graden) is het huis klein, onhandig en zeer koud door de dikke muren en het piepkleine straalkacheltje. De wifi-ontvangt is slecht.

Alles wat hier beloofd wordt klopt voor 100 %. Het huis was fris en schoon, de voorzieningen prima. Ondanks het warme weer van boven 30 graden bleef het heerlijk koel in de trullo. Als het te warm werd op het terras was er in de tuin een ruime lommerrijke plek om te zitten. Slapen onder de koepel van de trullo is echt een belevenis. Het huisje ligt op het land en toch maar 5 minuten van de stad en de supermarkt. En de omgeving een vallei van trulli en enkele leuke steden met een historic centro om in rond te dwalen ! Netter Trullo, aber Einrichtung auf dem Stand der 50er bis 60-er Jahre. Eigentlich keine Heizung, Warmwasser am Anfang auch nicht verfügbar, da schlechtes Wetter (nur Solar). Bei Außentemperaturen von 5° - 14°, zweimal bis 17°, war's im Inneren für einen normalen Aufenthalt einfach zu kalt wir sollten mit dem Gasherd heizen. Im Schlafzimmer kondensierte auf Grund der niedrigen Innentemperaturen der Atem. Bei warmen Wetter könnte es wegen der wunderschönen Terrasse und dem großen Garten ganz nett werden.

Der Trulli ist wunderschoen gelegen, inmitten einer tolllen Landschaft. Beste Ausstattung, gut zum Erholen. Man muss ein Auto haben, sonst ist die Unerkunft zu abgelegen. Mit dem Rad zum Strand geht nicht, zu weit und zu bergig.

We hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad in deze trullo. Een zeer verzorgde accommodatie van waaruit we de mooie dorpjes en stranden in de omgeving hebben verkend. Door de bouw van de trullo was het 's nachts niet te merken dat het zo heet was. Een extra pluspunt als je in de zomer naar Puglia gaat. De tuin om het huisje was voor de jongens heerlijk en ze hebben een hoop in de tuin gewerkt. Of lekker met een boek in de hangmat!

Erg genoten op deze prachtige plek! Heerlijk huisje, koel van binnen en warm van buiten!! Mooi terras met prachtig uitzicht waar je tot laat in de avond kan zitten en uitkijken over het dal. Genoten van alles plaatsen in de omgeving, de strandjes en de prachtige baaien die je langs de kust kan vinden. Huisje is erg compleet en super schoon! Zeer hartelijke en behulpzame ontvangst ( voor ons in de stromende regen bij aankomst en de lokatie niet goed kunnen vinden!) Wij hebben het 2 weken erg naar onze zin gehad en heel veel gezien en gedaan.
