Tips Owner

The archaeological and nature park in Manerba del Garda is fun to visit. It is a beautiful setting with breathtaking views. You can see the remains of city walls and on a clear day you can see Sirmione. There are remains of the fort. A visit is well worth it! www.parcoroccamanerba.net The beach Porto Torchio is a lovely place for an afternoon on the beach. There are bars and restaurants and it is clean and tidy. There are opportunities to hire sun loungers and parasols. Make an excursion to the island of San Biagio. You can take a ferry from Porto Torchio to island San Biagio. The island is a large green lawn where you can relax. Gabriele D'Annunzio's villa in Gardone Riviera is very rewarding to see (www.vittoriale.it). The villa is a beautiful place and it is very nice to see a villa of a narcissistic and eccentric man. Really nice!   At Avanzi (www.avanzivisite.it) you can taste great wines. Register for a tour and buy nice bottles of wine for after the holidays!

Mooi huis ( villa uno) in een rustig gedeelte van het park. De openbare weg die er achter langs gaat, geeft wel wat geluid, maar was voor ons niet storend, Wij verbleven op de bovenverdieping en dat is zeker aan te bevelen, daar het uitzicht op het meer dan fantastisch is. Groot appartement met geweldig mooi en groot schaduwrijk terras. Hoogzomer is dat erg fijn, maar in september vooral s'avonds te kil. De zon gaat nl. achter het huis onder. Zeer ruime woonkamer met een grote en een iets kleinere slaapkamer. Twee x twee eenpersoonsbedden naast elkaar en aan beide zijden een nachtkastje, wat erg fijn is. Kluisje in kledingkast van grote slaapkamer is aanwezig. Badkamer is gigantisch en keurig maar mist echt een kastje of plank waar je je spulletjes op kwijt kunt. En nergens ophanghaken. Piepkleine keuken (ik gok 1 x 3 meter) maar wel erg netjes. Voor het huis een afdak met plek voor 4 auto's, I.v.m. de hagel die daar wel eens schijnt te vallen. Dichtbij twee mooie zwembaden tussen de olijfbomen, erg mooi! Restaurantje met heerlijke pizza en s'ochtends verse broodjes. Flinke afdaling naar het meer, dus een fikse klim terug! Mensen van de receptie spreken Engels en zijn erg vriendelijk.

adembenemend uitzicht op het Gardameer. Rustige wandelboulevard direct gelegen aan het vakantiepark. Zeker te bezoeken is het eiland Isla Bagio dat via wandelboulevard te bereiken is. In vakantiepark twee(in zomer drie) verzorgde zwembaden. Binneninterieur van woning iets verouderd maar degelijk.

We zijn vriendelijk ontvangen en konden na een vermoeiende reis eerder in ons appartement. Het was schoon en ruim en voldeed aan de verwachtingen die we via de foto's hadden gekregen. Er is 1 minpunt aan het appartement en dat is de keuken en de keukeninrichting. Dat voldoet aan de kwaliteit die je bij deze prijs mag verwachten.Met de zwembaden op het terrein waar voldoende olijfbomen staan voor de vereiste schaduw en de mogelijkheid om op eigen terrein in het meer te zwemmen is het toch zeker een aanrader.

fijne vakantie gehad, leuk huisje, groot genoeg, mooi uitzicht en prima zwembaden
