This pet-friendly holiday home in eastern Sicily has 2 bedrooms to accomodate 5 people comfortably. Ideal for vacation on an island it has free wifi, a terrace with solarium to soak in the sun and stunning sea view to relax.



Close to the sea, there are 2sandy beaches at 5 minutes, a great fun spot for sand lovers. 2 km away is the Beach of Randello, a natural reserve and one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy with clear waters and golden sand. Bicycles are available to cycle in the surroundings. Golfers can try the golf course at 5 km. The kids can enjoy games and adventure at Baby Planet Ragusa amusement park at 22.6 km. Restaurants and general supplies are at 1 km. The Ragusa town center lies at 25 km.

The property is located a few kilometers from the UNESCO-protected town like Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, Noto, Punta Secca, Noto, Caltagirone and the Castle of Donnafugata. Just 2km from the house is the beautiful nature reserve, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy and one of the most beautiful beaches of Sicily.A beautiful beach of three kilometers with behind a pine forest characterized by Kermes oak, holm oak, mastic tree, eucalyptus, myrtle, cypress and other species of the Mediterranean. Apart from enjoying the area in front of the house with rocks and pebbles, ideal for those who enjoy snorkeling, fishing or fishing from the cliff divers, other wonderful beaches of fine golden sand are the Torre di Mezzo and Punta Braccetto. The two beaches are equipped with an agreement with the house. The province of Ragusa is famous for its traditional products such as DOP Ragusa, Modica chocolate, oil, Cerasuolo di Vittoria, black d'Avola, and our traditional cuisine. The owner will be at your disposal to give you informations about places to visit, the best restaurants where you can eat and places selling local products and local handicrafts. freundliche Begrüßung durch gut englisch sprechenden Vermieter,die Umgebung war durch Unmengen von Plastikgewächshäusern eher etwas abschreckend.... aber davon bekam man durch die geniale Lage des Hauses mit Privatbucht nichts mehr mit,wenn man einmal da war.. ...

Ragusa en speciaal deze regio rondom Santa Croce heeft buiten de kustlijn, niet echt veel te bieden behalve kassen met tomaten en paprika's. Dit neemt niet weg dat er vanaf hier in een straal van 2 uur autorijden, half Sicilië kan worden bezocht en bekeken! Van Agrigento tot Taormina, Etna maar ook de Cava Grande (aanrader voor fitte klimmers!) zijn prima te berijden met terugkomst in Santa Croce Camerina als rustige thuishaven. Vanaf het huisje is het 8 minuten met de auto tot de supermarkt Spar in Santa Croce, waar alles te halen is en veel lekkere verse ingrdiënten uit de streek worden verkocht. Op 30meter (!) is in de luwte van de zee een rotsachtige baai waar het met waterschoenen voor kinderen prima vertoeven is in de zee. 10 minuten wandelen en je bent op het mooie zandstrand van Punta Bracetta, waar je ver de zee in kunt lopen en het dus aangenaam is voor kinderen. De mensen zijn vriendelijk, de prijzen redelijk, en een bezoek aan een agriturismo (restaurant) zoals bijvoorbeeld La Masseria op 15 minuten rijden is een belevenis en heeeerlijk eten!

Het huisje was prima, alles was voorhanden. De eigenaar en zijn familie zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je hoeft maar iets te vragen en het wordt verzorgd of uitgelegd. Je hebt er wel een auto nodig. De supermarkt ligt in het dorp op 10 minuutjes rijden. Ook voor de bezienswaardigheden moet je wel een uurtje rijden. De wegen op Sicilië zijn niet zo heel erg goed. Heel veel wegen zijn geflikt maar er zijn nog gaten, kuilen en hobbels. Bovendien zijn er nog veel binnenwegen ongeasfalteerd. Een bezoek aan de Etna is meer dan waard.

Nahe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, fußläufig erreichbarer Sandstrand, ruhig (Anfang September),kleine gepflegte Anlage mit freundlichem Service. Guter Standort für den Besuch der zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten Siziliens. Auto unbedingt erforderlich.
