The residential area of Pozza di Fassa - featuring also Pera hamlet - is located in the widest plain of the valley where the Avisio river and the San Nicolò creek meet, and is crowned by the Cima Undici and the Cima Dodici peaks. Pozza is an oasis of wellness and tranquillity, with its Terme Dolomia spring waters gushing out at 1,320 metres from a sulphurous spring featuring skincare properties, which is the only one in the province of Trentino. Restyled ski area of Buffaure is famous for its panoramic view and the tranquillity of its slopes. The Buffaure ski area boasts long slopes - the longest in Val di Fassa - departing from Buffaure at 2,050 metres and arrive down into the valley. A trip on board the Buffaure cabin lift offers unforgettable views over the Catinaccio, the Latemar and the Sassolungo group. The Panorama Ski Tour leads to the Ciampac ski area in Alba di Canazei that offers the ski enthusiasts over 25 km of slopes kept in perfect snow condition, and the possibility to reach easily the Belvedere ski area in Canazei thanks to the ski bus service. Quite popular and rather crowded is the downhill run of Aloch at the Val di Fassa Ski Stadium, perfectly lit for night-time skiing: a true snow arena featuring slopes which are ideal for international downhill ski competitions. For cross-country ski enthusiasts, Pozza devotes both access to the Marcialonga circuit, and the Ciancoal rink, a funny alternative to the former, featuring various rhythms and snow guaranteed all the times

Date of stay: September 2017Het appartement is prachtig geleden, met rechtstreeks uitzicht op de hoge Dolomieten, in een rustig bergdorpje. De wandelmogelijkheden zijn prima. In alle richtingen is er direct toegang tot hoge bergpassen, ook voor mooie autoritten. Om vanuit het Val di Fassa naar verder weg gelegen bestemmingen te rijden, heeft men relatief veel tijd nodig. In de directe omgeving ligt een kleine supermarkt en liggen enkele restaurants en een souvenirwinkel. Het appartement zelf is keurig verzorgd en ruim genoeg voor 2 tot 4 personen. Een koffiezetter en waterkoker ontbreken. De eigenaresse is vriendelijk, maar spreekt alleen Italiaans. Let op het kan zijn dat het navigatiesysteem de Via Jumela niet herkent toets dan in Via Giumela. En de kosten voor de eindschoonmaak moeten, tegelijk met de borgsom, al aan het begin contant worden voldaan.

Date of stay: January 2017Aankmost was op zaterdag, 1630 uur, de eigenares is woonachting in appartementencomplex en gaf direct uitleg over alle huishoudelijk zaken. Spreekt alleen italiaans, de echtgenoot spreekt ook Engels. De accommodatie was naar tevredenheid, ruime woonkeuken, eenvoudige maar goede slaapkamers, goede doucheruimte met wasmachine, goede centrale verwarming, woonkeuken en slaapkamers voorzien van luiken voor de deuren nar buiten. Achterkant grenst aan parkje, geen bebouwing. Vrij uitzicht oa op skipiste van Vigo di Fassa.

Date of stay: September 2016Prima eenvoudige maar nette vakantiewoning aan de rand van het dorp Pera di Fassa. Zeer rustige ligging met vrij uitzicht. Geweldige uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen in de Dolomieten door de zeer centrale ligging. Kleine supermarkt, bakker, pizzeria's en stoeltjeslift/taxibus op minder dan 5 minuten loopafstand. Diverse restaurants in Pera op 10 tot 15 minuten lopen.
