Montaione and its beautiful medieval village is an ideal location to relax in the midst of beautiful hills and to discover the most charming places of Tuscany. This is one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany. Fantastic colors that glide on soft hills like an impressionist painting in this country where the woods and vineyards are alternated in a poem dotted with cypress trees. We are on top of the hills, and a nice breeze cools the summer weather, we enjoy the view of sunsets fairies. Here you can ride and play to lose yourself in the bike or drive to enjoy thoroughly surprised to discover the villages, winding streets or hidden paths. A fantastic experience to be decanted into relaxation while savoring a great wine. The estate is fully fenced to ensure privacy for guests and features a spa pool, soccer field, giant chess, playground and table tennis. In the cave of the property you can taste and buy the typical products of local companies and also drink an espresso or a liqueur. There are open spaces for dinner in common with the other guests with great barbecue and a room for events. A short distance golf and country club with a large field with 27 holes with which owners have an agreement and an excellent restaurant and horse riding.

Date of stay: August 2018Bij aankomst werden we van harte welkom geheten op het landgoed door Carla, de eigenaresse, en haar twee medewerkers. Onze accommodatie was de laatste woning van een rijtje appartementen. Het huis was schoon en een fles wijn met wat lekkernijen stonden al op ons te wachten. Het personeel is heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Er staat een grote bbq op het veld met een lange tafel met banken. Op het landgoed staan hagen van rozemarijn, potten met salvia en basilicum. Zodra we gingen eten koken, liepen we eerst een rondje over het veld. Bij het zwembad staan ligstoelen zo ook bij alle appartementen zodat men kan kiezen waar men gaat liggen. Men dient er rekening mee te houden dat het water niet drinkbaar is, in ieder geval, men kan de kwaliteit niet garanderen maar gezien de kleur hebben we er ons ook niet aan gewaagd. In het winkeltje kan men bronwater, wijn en olijfolie krijgen en broodjes bestellen. Wij waren in augustus en dan zijn er muggen waartegen je je goed moet insmeren. De cultuurliefhebber kan zijn hart hier goed ophalen want Volterra, San Vivaldo, San Gimignano liggen niet ver weg maar ook Sienna, Florence liggen op 1 uur rijden van de accommodatie. De kust ligt 1,5 rijden hier vandaan. Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad en hebben erg genoten.
