Date of stay: October 2017Heerlijk gerieflijk huis met ruim voldoende kamers voor ons gezelschap van 11 personen (6 volwassenen en 5 kinderen. 5 badkamers voor dit aantal is dan ook erg handig. Living gezellig ingericht met voldoende zitmogelijkheden. Slaapkamers ruim en goed voorzien van beddengoed. Voor het eten, zowel binnen als buiten, een lange tafel met groot aantal stoelen, prima ook. Keuken in verhouding tot het aantal kamers en gasten, bescheiden van inrichting. Goed zwembad( werd iedere morgen schoongemaakt ), hoewel in oktober wat koud. Genoeg ligstoelen. Pizza-oven. Het huis ligt met 360° uitzicht, fantastisch! Mogelijkheden voor wandelen direct vanuit het huis. Huis is redelijk goed gelegen voor het bezoeken van interessante steden, zoals Bologna, Parma, Modena. De huiseigenaar was leuk en behulpzaam, problemen met wifi en de verwarming werden onmiddellijk verholpen.

Date of stay: July 2017The area is stunning and restful, the owner went out of his way to be helpful and was a delight to get to know. The property itself was lovely however the kitchen facilities are not suitable for large groups and needs to be equipped better. While we were there it was 37c and 26c at night which was unbearable as there is no air-conditioning, although fans were provided ( mosquito spray required). The bedrooms were spacious and clean with plenty of storage to hang your clothing. Outside the property, the eating area is constantly shaded and was an excellent family area which was used well into the night. The pool was great, not too cold and the children played for many hours however the pool is all one depth, which was not a problem for us. There are fig trees, blackberries and a herb garden which was regularly used when cooking. The restaurant in Tabioano Castello was lovely and the food was good, ( leave the house wine though pay a couple of extra euros) and was not overly priced. There is also a restaurant that does pizza 5-6 km in the other direction which does very good pizza at very good prices.
