This villa with a tower is located in Graffignano, Rome on the top of a hill. It is surrounded by a beautiful organic farm with a 360-degree view of the Monte Soratte, Monte Cimino, the lake of Alviano and Castiglione. Having 3 bedrooms and a WiFi, this villa is a comfortable stay for 9 persons.



You can go on trips to Lake Alviano, Lake Vico and Lake Bolsena which are 8.5 km, 40 km and 28 km away from the residence.



The villa has a naturally made swimming pool where the water is filtered with salt and magnesium. In the immediate surroundings of the villa, you can find olive groves, fields, woods and many fruit trees.



In the vegetable garden, you can find pumpkins, courgettes, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, beans, peas, and lettuce. There are multiple options for outdoor dining at the property.



While staying here, you can participate in the cooking workshops, wine tasting, cheese, and olive oil tasting and walking tours organised by the owner.

Tips Owner

1. Cookery classes (in English) We organize thematic cooking classes in our brand new kitchen: homemade pasta, vegetarian dishes, typical Italian meal, and pizza. Usually a class lasts 3 hours with a glass of local wine. 2. Wine tasting We can arrange wine tasting tours to discover the typical and DOC wines of our area. 3. Cheese and olive oil tasting These activities can be held in our kitchen. We produce DOP extra virgin olive oil. Cheese is bought from locale cheese makers with own sheep. 4. Walking tour We organize on request walking tours in the Amerini mountains in spring and autumn, like the Monte Serra excursion (12 km). In summer we organize walking tours near the Bolsena lake and surroundings, including a boat trip to the Bisentina Island.

Mooie grote villa met ruime slaapkamers. Vooral de veranda is heerlijk, altijd een goede schaduwplek met veel zitplaatsen. Grote keuken om zelf in te koken. Ook de buiten BBQ gebruikt, de eigenaresse zorgde dat we hout kregen om hiermee te stoken. Zwembad is lekker dichtbij, veel strandbedjes om gebruik van te maken en een buitendouche omnje af te spoelen. Eten bij het restaurantje bij het huisje is ook een aanrader, zelf gemaakt 4 gangen diner gehad met echte Italiaanse gerechten. Makkelijk contact te leggen met eigenaresse, gaf tips voor activiteiten in de buurt. Kortom, top verblijf!

Erg mooie omgeving waar het huis prachtig op de heuvel ligt. We waren wat vroeg aangekomen, Daniella de eigenaresse heeft ons een goede tip gegeven voor de lunch. Huis was prachtig en schoon. Het restaurant wordt gerund door Sylvia, de dochter van Daniella, die erg lekker kookt met veel verse groenten en kruiden uit hun eigen tuin. Het zwembad is mooier dan je op basis van de foto’s zou verwachten, heel fijn. In de omgeving is veel moois te zien, zoals de kathedraal van Orvieto en de biologische wijnmakerij van Sergio Mottura in het nabij gelegen dorp. Het meer van Bolsena is een aanrader helder water , goede plek om te snorkelen en een speedboot te huren.

Prachtige omgeving en uitstekende uitvalsbasis. Zeer lekker gegeten in restaurant met bereidingen uit de eigen tuin. Uniek plonsbad. Goede faciliteiten.
