The cottage is settled in the "Crete Senesi" area at only 10km from Siena and 15km from Asciano village.
This is one of the most suggestive place in South Siena and for this the most pictured. The Leonina hill is part of the" Site Transitoire", the magic sculpture of Jean Paul Philippe.
The cottage is surrounded by a wide beautiful private garden (about 2400 sqm). Private swimming pool (4x8 deep 1,20m). Two covered Patio's with garden furniture.
The just well renewed house has traditional Tuscan cotto floor and wood beam sealing. In the bedrooms parquet floor. Very high standard furnishings.
From bedrooms windows and from the kitchen wood door beautiful view towards swimming pool and country side. Siena is also visible at the horizon.
Head to Museo del Paesaggio and Castello di Montalto. Take your kids to Chianti Sculpture Park. Hit the town centre to dine and shop. You can also pay a visit to Castello di Brolio and Duomo di Siena. Excursions to Uffizi Gallery and Castello di Meleto are also possible from here.
The nearest airport is just 80 km away.

Date of stay: October 2021The house and the environment was really nice, just the contact with the owner was very disappointing. Everything you could think of is charged extra, sheets, towels (bad) internet, heating, airconditionning, pets, cleaning. Considering the price of the house I expected most of these posts included. More important the tone of voice of the contact with the owner and the little instruction folder was quite negative. To top that off, the owner accused us of lying about the days we used the heating (I think). All in all a mixed bag. We definitely did not feel welcome and just a cash cow. I guess I should read the fine print better next time. An earlier review should have tipped me off.

Date of stay: July 2021Hand- und Badetücher können zwar als Paket (10€ p.P.) extra gemietet werden, allerdings bekamen wir für unseren zweiwöchigen (!) Urlaub mit Pool nur 1 Handtuch und 1 Badetuch p.P., die auch für die Plastikliegen am Pool reichen müssen: Auflagen gibt es nämlich keine. Für frische Handtücher muss man extra zahlen. Hier wird an den falschen Stellen gespart. Von dem kaputten WC, der Spülmaschine und der defekten Waschmaschine ganz zu schweigen.
