You can join us during the chestnut harvest that is organized in October. You can boil chestnuts and make bruschiate (toasted bread) yourself. The farmstay can organize pizza parties with wood-fired oven. Corrella is a small town 4 kilometres away. It features a private club where you can taste traditional food from the Mugello region. Trails are suitable for mountain biking and Nordic walking. Guests visiting Florence can dine at the family-run restaurant "Salsamenteria dei Ciompi", located on Piazza dei Ciompi. They can enjoy a 10% discount on items in the menu.

Date of stay: June 2019De eigenaren zeer gastvrij en een zeer goede ontvangst. Zwembad erg schoon, alles was aanwezig rondom het zwembad. Omgeving erg mooi. Accommodatie prima komt niks te kort. Het viel ons erg tegen dat je niet even naar de winkels toe kon, er staat vermeld dat de dichtbijzijnde winkels op 13 km afstand zit maar er staat niet vermeld dat je eerst 13 km middels haarspeld bochten naar boven/beneden moet rijden. Je moet echt de auto pakken wil je iets gaan doen. Wandelen is geen optie zeker als je wat slechter ter been bent en de scootmobiel die we mee hadden hebben we niet kunnen gebruiken omdat de weg een kiezel pad was. Dit is nergens vermeld.
