Possibility for excursions to protected areas (Palmaria Island, Punta Corvo, Lerici, Porto Venere, Cinque Terre, Portofino) by boat from the nearby tourist port of Marina di Carrara with ferries or renting boats. Guided tours of the white marble quarries of Carrara. Reached in 15/20 minutes with altitudes of 1300 asl. Choice of nightclubs and discos are within a 40 minutes drive along the coast towards Viareggio. Cities such as Pisa, Sarzana, Lucca, Pietrasanta easily accessible by highway. Beach with rocks in front the house. Beach with sand at 500 m. ancient archaeological zone LUNI with path and museum. 5 Terre - Excursions available on request for organized groups In the nearby seaside resort of Viareggio, every year in February, Carnival is celebrated in grand style with parades of floats, masks for adults and children and parties with typical sweets! Date of stay: September 2019This is our place to go to in Italy. The location is great: the house is situated directly at the seaside in a quiet area. The beach is within a walking distance. Some local shops and restaurants are also located very close by. The apartment is very clean, the bed is comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped so you can easily prepare your own meals. We recommend this place.

Date of stay: July 2019Mit Navigation war die Unterkunft sehr leicht zu finden. Ansprechpartner, trotz unserer mangelnden Sprachkenntnisse in Italienisch und Englisch, sehr freundlich und eine Kommunikation möglich. Unterkunft war sehr sauber, ink. Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Es hätte etwas mehr Geschirr vorhanden sein können (nur 2 Tassen bei vier Personen). Der Sandstrand ist zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen und sehr sauber (zum Schwimmen leider nicht geeignet, Wasser zu flach und im Wasser sehr steinig zum Teil sogar sehr scharfkantik, Aquaschuhe empfehlenswert.

Date of stay: September 2018The apartment looked exactly as on the pictures. Everything was new and very clean. We were there with 4 adults, and there was room enough to sleep. The bed and couch were comfortable. We loved the location of the house the sea was just in front of the apartment. You can't swim there, but you can sit/walk there and enjoy the view. The public beach is very close, within 10 min walk. There are few restaurants and a small supermarket near by. The owner was very friendly and helpful, always fast in answering our questions. We enjoyed our 10 days stay, and highly recommend this place.
