It is opposite the Porticciolo and you can enjoy world famous Italian cuisine in one of the nearby restaurants. Cala Petròlo and Castello Arabo-Normanno - Castellammare del Golfo are closeby to exhibit the history and heritage. The small port, from which boat trips to the Zingaro reserve depart, can be reached by a staircase just below the apartment.

Appartement is sober, maar dat is op informatiefoto's ook duidelijk te zien. Sleutel zou in e-lock zitten, maar de hiervoor opgegeven code klopte niet. Na heen en weer appen juiste code, maar vervolgens zaten er geen sleutels in de e-lock. Op dag 2 geen water (in keuken, toilet, douche). Veel heen en weer appen (eigenaar spreekt geen engels), gerepareerd, maar dag erna weer geen water. Dagen bezig geweest om stromend water te kunnen krijgen en gebruiken. Prachtig uitzicht over haven van Castellamare. Wel pittige klim weer naar boven. Bij aankomst veel stof in het appartement, niet schoon (terwijl er schoonmaakkosten van 118 euro in rekening zijn gebracht). Waarschijnlijk waren wij de eerste gasten van het seizoen en was er maanden geleden voor het laatst schoon gemaakt. Mooie locatie, maar veel problemen met een eigenaar die alleen italiaans spreekt.
