Klein Weeshuis in Enkhuizen has a rich history dating back to the year 1600. The building has many unique details and is on the list of national monuments. In 2018, the property underwent renovations that preserve all its charm while still offering modern amenities. With 3 bedrooms, the house offers ample space for larger groups.
In Enkhuizen, you can admire the boates in the harbours, walk along countless monuments and canals, and enjoy shopping and fine dining. There's plenty to do just outside the town as well, such as hiking, bicycling and, of course, sailing. Fairytale Wonderland is also great fun for children.
Behind the property, you'll step through the sunny courtyard with its numerous vegetable gardens into the bright, cosy, fully equipped kitchen diner. Everyone can find a place to sit together here. The hall at the front of the house provides access to the terrace overlooking the church and a picturesque shopping street.
You have the option to order lunch and dinner at the adjacent restaurant, Onder de Wester. Various tapas menus are served at the holiday home (on request).

Date of stay: September 2022Het is een heel mooi pand op mooie lokatie . Hele fijne woonkeuken. Nadeel de kerkklokken zijn dan toch erg dichtbij ieder half en heel uur. Het huis zelf is ook erg gehorig. Vriendelijk ontvangst en problemen worden meteen opgelost. Gezellig verblijf gehad,goed verzorgt maar ben je gevoelig voor geluid is het niet de beste plek. Enkhuizen is overigens zeer de moeite waard.

Date of stay: November 2021Prachtig pand, echt in het centrum van Enkhuizen en op loopafstand van de haven. Mooie keuken, genoeg plek voor iedereen. Daarnaast een tv kamer met banken maar daar kan je niet met iedereen zitten. Netflix werkt, door een gast ingevoerd. WiFi is ook goed. Nadeel is dat je tegen de gereformeerde kerk aan zit met werkende kerkklokken, welke s’nachs ook luiden. Aangezien van dat is het een mooie authentieke plek om te logeren.

Date of stay: October 2021Geweldige plek, midden in het centrum met winkels en horeca binnen 1 minuut lopen.Prachtig historisch pand, zeer sfeervol. Zeker wel aan te raden om goede oordoppen mee te nemen ivm de kerkklok naast het pand die elke half uur en hele uur slaat...

Date of stay: April 2019Groot klooster, veel bedden, schoon, fijne keuken waar je met veel kan zitten. Woonkamer ietwat donker, daarom vooral in de keuken gezeten met zijn allen. Leuk moestuintje. Wel langs de kerk, dus sommige werden elk uur wakker van de klokslagen. Als slechte slaper dus oordopjes mee.
