Description
It's not a holiday home, it's not a flat. No, it's a tipi tent. How much you will enjoy this unique way of spending the night. Playing Indian for adults and children.
Of course, you will find every comfort in the tent. You enter the wigwam through a small living room where a seating area has been created, through this area you enter the two sleeping compartments with double beds. A small kitchenette with utensils and a private bathroom can be found in a small outbuilding. This is 'back to basics' but with today's necessities.
Tipi Callantsoog is suitable for four people and is located on a small-scale holiday park with a unique location. The Callantsoog beach is within walking distance and the Zwanenwater nature reserve is also nearby. The holiday park has a large playground for children.
With its location near the dunes, the tipi is ideally situated to enjoy everything the North Holland coast has to offer.
With the tipi tent, a bicycle and a large cart are available as standard. The cart is ideal for the children during the walk to the beach.
Tip: At Easter, the Easter bunny comes to visit us! He will search for chocolate eggs with the children, make colouring page masks and other fun activities. There will be coffee/tea and hot chocolate for the parents.

Date of stay: August 2020 - September 2020Helaas een teleurstelling, de tipi waarin wij verbleven was erg koud snachts (de genoemde verwarming is een kleine elektrisch radiator die niet de hele tent kon verwarmen. Wij hebben daarom met kleding aan geslapen om het toch enigszins warm te krijgen. De tipi lekte in de regen (op 1 plaats, maar toch) verder kregen wij helemaal geen uitleg, maar enkel een meisje bij de receptie die vertelde daar is uw tipi), een paar dagen daarna hoorde wij de uitleg bij een andere groep die arriveerde en kregen toen allemaal dingen te horen die ons niet verteld waren. Het dek waarop de tipi stond was van onbehandeld multiplex en door de regen waren hier kuilen/gaten in ontstaan. Met name in de nacht (als je buiten naar het toilet moet) is dit erg onhandig. Om af te sluiten, de douche heeft enkel standje ijskoud/verschroeiend heet, dus niet aangenaam. Een spiegel is nergens te vinden, dus zelf meenemen is het advies. Wij zijn voortijdig uitgecheckt (om diverse redenen) en zullen hier niet meer boeken. Ben je verstokt kampeerder vind je dit wellicht allemaal erg leuk, maar het luxe wat voorgespiegeld werd was ver te zoeken.

Date of stay: July 2019Prima ontvangst, de tipitent met bijbehorende tuin was top en van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtige omgeving, dichtbij het strand en het centrum van Callantsoog. We sliepen op de grond, maar prima matrassen!
