Description

The various types of accommodations at Boomhiemke holiday park are spread throughout the park. You have your choice of seven different types in a range of sizes. There are three different 4-person accommodations: a luxury detached single-storey thatched bungalow with two bathrooms, one with a hot tub, washing machine and dryer (NL-5207), a detached single-storey bungalow (NL-9161-32) and a link-detached bungalow (NL-9594). There are also three types of 6-person accommodations, all link detached. There is a thatched villa (NL-5212), a single-storey bungalow with a charming sleeping alcove in the living room (NL-5213) and a charming wooden Finnish single-storey variant (NL-5214). Finally, there is a detached 8-person thatched villa (NL-5210). Some of these villas are equipped with an open fireplace.

All accommodations include a terrace with garden furniture. All the bedrooms are equipped with comfortable box spring beds.

Type NL-5212 is located in a separate section, about 2 km from the main part of Boomhiemke. Here you will find a total of nine villas just 100 metres from the dune and beach.

Zeer gedateerd huisje qua inrichting. Matrassen pasten niet op de bedden waardoor en je veel ruimte overhoud. Wel alles aanwezig in huisje.

We zijn inmiddels meerdere keren op Ameland verbleven, steeds in andere huisjes, andere locaties. Altijd tot genoegen! Dit huisje ervaarden wij echter als zeer basic en toe aan een upgrade, vooral voor wat betreft sanitair (oud en stinkend), ketel (herrie) en inventaris (karig). De vriezer werkte niet, en de vaatwasser waste niet schoon. Er zijn ook geen horren voor de ramen. Oftewel, we vinden dit huisje de prijs/ kwaliteitverhouding zeker niet waard. Klantvriendelijkheid van de receptie zou overigens ook beter kunnen, maar misschien had de betreffende dame (2x) haar dag niet. Ameland, Hollum, Ballum en Nes zijn allemaal fantastisch en steeds weer voor herhaling vatbaar. Maar volgende keer dus echt een ander verblijf voor ons.

Ameland, wat was je mooi, wat was je warm! Erg genoten van dit paarden eiland. Hollum perfecte plek en leuke restaurants. De Griffel is een aanrader maar ook het ijs winkeltje LEKKER is een dagelijks bezoek waard! We komen graag terug.

Ik werd netjes ontvangen door het personeel. Alle administratie was snel afgerond en het huisje was klaar voor ontvangst.

Die Unterkunft ist gut, die Umgebung sehr gut. Leider war die Ankunft etwas ernüchternd, da die Bettwäsche gemietet werden muss. Außerdem weicht der Preis für die Bettwäsche stark ab. Im Vertrag steht € 8,50/Person, tatsächlich waren es aber € 13,50/Person mit der Begründung, dass die Betten fertig gemacht sind. In einem Bett war die Bettwäsche voller Haare (ekelig). Bei sofortiger Reklamation an der Rezeption haben wir zwar sofort neue Bettwäsche erhalten aber als Gutmachung einen lächerlichen Nachlass von € 5,00 erhalten.
