This modernly furnished holiday apartment for a maximum of 4 people is located in a converted, around 450-year-old farm at an altitude of approx. 1050 meters in Fresach in Carinthia, directly in the mountains a short distance from Lake Millstättersee and between the ski areas of Bad Kleinkirchheim and the Sportberg Goldeck with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

The house in which this holiday apartment is located was built around 450 years ago and converted into a holiday home by the owner while preserving its authentic character. The holiday apartment is simple but fully furnished. This apartment has a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The open kitchen is equipped with a hotplate and a refrigerator and the living room has a cozy, typically Austrian dining area and a television. As a guest you can use the large garden and the pool (May-September).

There is a lot to experience in the area around the house - both for sporty holidaymakers and those seeking peace and quiet. In summer, Lake Millstättersee is highly recommended and offers many water sports opportunities, other swimming lakes nearby include Lake Faak and Lake Ossiacher. A ride by bike is also highly recommended. In winter you can choose from several ski areas that can be reached quickly by car.

The municipality of Fresach is located in the Villacher-Land district in the border triangle of Austria, Italy and Slovenia.

Erg basic, oud mobulair. Erg kleine keuken zonder simpele koekenpan. Uitzicht was prachtig vanaf het balkon op de bergen en grazende koeien van de eigenaar. 4 dagen voor vertrek bericht dat zwembad door omtandigheden niet in gebruik was, jammer want daarom was de keus op dit huisje gevallen. Welkom was niet echt van te spreken: ‘hallo’. En achter de eigenaresse aangelopen die alleen de deur heeft gewezen waar we moesten zijn. Beddengoed rook niet fris (was wel schoon). Omgeving is prachtig. Leuke wandelroutes binnen 5-30 minuten rijden. Dagje Triglev Slovenie is ook een aanrader!

Een prachtige locatie, hooggelegen op de alp. Je moet wel in de bergen durven rijden. Eigenaresse was vriendelijk maar niet behulpzaam. Als je zelf kookt is er precies genoeg keukenuitrusting dat was soms lastig. Maar al met al een fantastische plek!

De aankomst was prima, maar iets te kort en eenvoudig. De accomodatie vonden wij super! Eenvoudig, maar schoon en comfortabel. Je moet er wel van houden dat je in de middle of nowhere zit, maar dan is het uitzicht en de omgeving gewoonweg schitterend! Heel veel ruimte om het huis om te relaxen. Het enige nadeel is dat je niet even een stadje of dorpje in kunt lopen. Kortom: als je houdt van rust en stilte en als je wilt genieten van de mooie uitzichten en natuur, ben je hier aan het goede adres!
