The Zillertal is narrowing, the mountains are getting closer and the air is vibrating. Welcome to Mayrhofen (633m above sea level), probably the most active place in the Zillertal. People live and meet here for skiing, après-ski and shopping. The ski bus runs here within the village, since the valley stations of the Penken and Ahornbahn are in the center of the village.
