Description

This large, authentic holiday home (former farm) for up to 16 people is located in the municipality of Obervellach in Carinthia, quietly located in the south at an altitude of 1,130 meters with panoramic views of the Mölltal and the Hohe Tauern National Park, near the Ankogel/Mallnitz ski area and the Mölltal Glacier in Flattach.

The holiday home with a large living room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen-diner has been carefully renovated and offers comfortable furnishings combined with the atmosphere of the past. The house has 6 bedrooms (3 with their own balcony), 3 large bathrooms, 2 outdoor terraces and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Parking spaces are available directly at the house.

The area is home to beautiful hiking trails and impressive flora and fauna. In summer, the public swiiming pool in Obervellach and the Greifenburg bathing lake offers plenty of bathing fun, and the famous Millstätter See can also be reached in about 30 minutes by car. You can ski on the Mölltal Glacier with 36 kilometers of slopes (also with a fun park) from October to mid-May. The equally well-known Ankogel/Mallnitz ski area offers almost 13 kilometers of slopes.

The house is located in the border triangle of Austria-Slovenia-Italy, making it easy to visit cities such as Trieste, Udine, Venice, Villach and Klagenfurt. There are numerous shops in Obervellach for your daily shopping.

By purchasing the KärntenCard (available from May to November and in winter), you often receive free entry and various discounts on attractions and activities in the region. From May to October and in winter, all guests can go on free (snowshoe) hikes with a national park ranger (maximum 2 times per stay). The house owners are happy to give you advice and tips.

Prima ontvangst en uitleg in een zeer schoon huis. Voor vragen kan je altijd bij de eigenaren terecht. Het huis ligt wel een stukje op de berg maar daar wen je anel aan. Goede skimogelijkheden voor jong/oud en beginnend/gevorderd.

Wir hatte eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche im Herzen von Kärnten. Der Gastgeber und die Bewohner vom Pfaffenberg hiessen uns herzlich willkommen und bewiesen ihre Gastfreundschaft. In der Unterkunft fehlte es an nichts. Die Sonne war unser ständiger Begleiter, was sich natürlich an der Schneehöhe bemerkbar machte. Der Mölltaler Gletscher ist ein kleines aber sehr schönes, Schneesicheres, anspruchsvolles Skigebiet mit vielen Möglichkeiten.

Zeer gastvrije Nederlandse verhuurders. Met de verhuurder een sneeuwschoenwandeling gemaakt. Was super. Zeer mooie en leuke omgeving, goede pistes. Het huis is mooi geleggen met een fantastisch uitzicht. Wij komen zeker een keer terug.

Heerlijk, bijzonder sfeervol huis. Hebben kerst gevierd met 4 gezinnen. Veel oude details maken dit huis tot iets heel bijzonders. Erg grote leefkeuken waardoor je met 18 personen ruim kan vertoeven.

Ein paar Facts über den Gatternighof: - Wunderschön gelegen mit toller Aussicht - Haus sehr großzügig mit ausreichend Zimmern/Betten - Genau richtig ausgestattet (alles da aber kein Luxus, selbst Geschirrspüler und WLAN vorhanden) - Sehr gemütliche riesige Wohnküche mit tollem Holzherd Und das ganz Besondere: sehr nette und entspannte Eigentümer, die uns so gastfreundlich empfangen haben, dass wir uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt haben. Kurz zusammengefasst: perfekte Location für uns (16 Jungs auf einem Junggesellenabschied-Wochenende) und definitiv die Anreise aus München wert
