It is located 1 km from the center of Houthalen, 2 km from the motorway and along the cycle route network (near junction 316). This makes it an excellent choice for lovers of walking and cycling. The indoor/outdoor playground Tarzan & Jane is 600 m from the house.
You can prepare your favorite dishes in the well-equipped kitchen and the cozy living room has a homely atmosphere with books, magazines, candles and craft supplies. There is room for the car in the garage and you have the option to charge bicycles. In addition, there are plenty of fun games available.

We spoil you with a well-equipped kitchen, comfort in the bathroom, made beds and a homely atmosphere with books, magazines, candles, craft supplies, ... Tram 17 is located 1 km from the center of Houthalen, 2 km from the motorway and along the cycle route network (near junction 316). We are the perfect base for those who enjoy cycling and walking. If you want to plan a route in advance, you can also use the bicycle route planner in the app “Vlaanderen Fietsland.be” where Tram 17 is located near junction 316 or the free bicycle app from Tourism Limburg. Wheelchair accessibility: The house was built and furnished by hostess Els, who is a wheelchair user herself. Without noticing, this house is wheelchair friendly. This means that you will not encounter any thresholds from the spacious, flat car park to the bed, the doors are one meter wide and open both inwards and outwards, the tables can accommodate wheelchairs, the bed is on higher legs, ... In the kitchen you can get started with a table suitable for wheelchairs and all cupboards and the electric stove are at a wheelchair-friendly height. As a wheelchair user, you can also fill the dishwasher and washing machine yourself! The bathroom is very spacious (there is room for a wheelchair and hoist), has a bath with a removable bath chair, a raised toilet with armrest, a sink that is suitable for wheelchairs and of course a mirror at the right height. The wardrobes contain sufficient shelves and accessible clothes hangers. We are also happy to help you rent extra aids such as a hoist, electric bed or ... We can also provide you with the telephone numbers of independent nurses or physiotherapists. Your dog is also more than welcome. In addition to parking your car, you can also park and charge bicycles in the garage. The house is also suitable for families with children

Date of stay: October 2023Big land house with 3 bedrooms (2 double person beds & single person bed). Big living room with plenty light due to big windows. Big kitchen. In the bathroom was a bath & 2 sinks, but no shower. Nice garden. The house is designed to accommodate also people with disabilities. Very quiet neighborhood. Very nice owner, center of the village less then 1 km with plenty shops & restaurants. Many nice places to visit within 25km, we like walking in the nature.
