If you have always dreamed of staying in a characteristic French villa among the grapevines and the lavender then this is the villa for you. You have a beautiful view of the verdant surroundings from the house. The garden has a wonderful swimming pool, surrounded by a terrace and sun loungers. There is also a boules court on the estate for the sport lovers.
This private estate is located just outside the village of Salernes. This characteristic Provençal village is located in Bresque valley, where the Pelicourt and Grave rivers meet. Salernes has a charming village centre serenaded by countless fountains. From the ruined castle in the upper village you have a lovely view across the rooftops with their red tiles, which are characteristic of the region.
There are many characteristic Provençal villages round Salernes. The Mediterranean, with luxurious beach resorts such as Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez, is 55 km from the residence. Water sports enthusiasts will be in their element at the Lac de Sainte-Croix (23 km) or the famed Gorges du Verdon (30 km).
BBQ is actually an electric griddle (2,000 W) for 8 people.

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst door een hele lieve mevrouw. welkoms cadeau stond koud in de koelkast. Kregen bij overdracht sleutelde toelichting omtrent voorzieningen & gebruik zwembad & omgevening. Huisje/tuin/zwembad goed verzorgd en van alle gemakken voorzien. Goede bedden, meerdere douchen en toilet. Prachtig omgeving voor rust en activiteiten. Sleutel retour: spreek je de tijd af en komt de dame weer langs. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad!

Date of stay: July 2015Lomandra is een ruime Provençaalse villa in een prachtig landschap. Vanuit de woning heb je een fantastisch panoramisch uitzicht op de vallei, omringd door bossen. Ook vanuit het mooie zwembad geniet je volop van dit plaatje. De villa beschikt over al het nodig comfort. Infobrochures m.b.t. de regio zijn ruim aanwezig. De woning is ideaal gelegen als uitvalsbasis voor tal van bezienswaardigheden, zoals o.m. Gorges de Verdon, waterval van Sillan, abdij van Thoronet. Ook de nabijgelegen dorpjes met hun typische markten zijn een bezoek meer dan waard (Tourtour, Villecroze, Entrecasteau...). Bovendien hoef je niet ver te rijden om de meer mondaine badsteden aan de Côte d'Azur (Saint-Tropez, Saint-Maxime, Fréjus...) te verkennen. En natuurlijk kan je ook gewoon genieten van Lomandra zelf. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk, behulpzaam en kan bovendien steeds bereikt worden. En... hij sprak onze moedertaal. Bij onze aankomst mochten wij trouwens een fijne attentie ontdekken in de koelkast. Kortom, wij houden mooie herinneringen aan Lomandra en deze toffe vakantie.
