The Drôme des Collines runs all the way from the Vercors to the Rhône Valley and offers plenty of beautiful walking routes. The picturesque Alixan and the largest Christmas market in the Drôme is also well worth a visit.

Date of stay: July 2022 - August 2022De villa was minder "Belle" dan we hadden gehoopt. Het huis aan de buitenkant is mooi. Maar van binnen is het oud en zeer gedateerd. Wat kapot gaat aan apparaten wordt niet gerepareerd. Het toilet in het gedeelte van het huis bij het zwembad liep door. We hebben het gemeld, maar reparatie bleef uit. De stoelen bij het zwembad zijn hoognodig aan vervanging toe. We gebruikten de douche in het gedeelte van het huis bij het zwembad omdat in het andere gedeelte van het huis geen douchegordijn bij het bad was geplaatst waardoor de antieke meubels in de badkamer kletsnat zouden worden. Met de aanwezigheid van 1 fatsoenlijk ligbed kon slechts 1 persoon relaxed een boek lezen. Een airco was geen overbodige luxe geweest. Het zwembad is wel geweldig. Het zwembad en de tuin is dan ook het enige waar wel veel zorg aan wordt besteed door de sympathieke mevrouw Deumer en haar hulp Hans. Wij hadden eerlijk gezegd meer comfort verwacht voor deze prijs. Ondanks deze tegenvaller hebben we er toch maar het beste van gemaakt. De kinderen vermaakten zich prima en we hebben meerdere leuke uitstapjes in de regio gemaakt.
